Chase Rice Announces His Headlining Everybody We Know Does Tour

Chase Rice recently released his brand new single, “Everybody We Know Does.” The new single is set to impact country radio on July 18, and will provide fans with a relatable soundtrack to enjoy.

To further celebrate this new single release, and no doubt highly anticipated additional new music ahead, Chase Rice is heading out on his Everybody We Know Does Tour. Hitting the road in September, Rice will hit some unconventional tour markets and bring his music and energetic live show to fans that have been with him from the start.

“When I first heard ‘Everybody We Know Does,’ I was immediately reminded of all the songs I listened to growing up, the songs my dad and I would listen to out on our farm and it just put me right back at home in those moments,” said Rice. “It’s a message that I needed to hear, and from the feedback we’ve been getting already, I think fans feel the same way. So that’s what this tour is about – finding those fans, whether they’ve been with me for a while or might be seeing my show for the first time, and experiencing music together in some of those places that mean the most to us.”

The Everybody We Know Does Tour will start in New Haven, CT, with several tour dates to follow. Check out the announced tour dates below. Additional cities and dates will be announced in the coming weeks.

Dierks Bentley’s Beloved Dog Jake Passes Away

They say a dog is a man’s best friend. That statement certainly held true over the years for Dierks Bentley and his beloved dog Jake. Unfortunately, Jake has passed away as Dierks shared this weekend on Twitter.

Jake has been a part of Dierks’ life for many years, not only personally but also professionally. Jake has made several appearances on tour, interviews, award shows, album cover and more. The last song on Bentley’s most recent album Black has a piece at the end that is specifically about his dog.

“The last track on this record, the last song is a song called ‘Can’t Be Replaced,’ I wouldn’t say that it’s sad. It’s somber. It’s honest. It’s real” Bentley shares. “It’s a look back on life. It’s a look back on really the 12 songs that came before this last song. The guy’s kinda realizing that’s just the way life is – no matter how much you want something back or how much money you’ve got, you can’t get it to come back.”

“That’s the way I feel every day watching my kids grow up and also with my dog, Jake. The last verse talks about him and knowing this is the last record he’ll be a part of, and it’s painful, but I love it. But the last lyric is about Jake, and then you have this great dobro solo on the way out from Jerry Douglas.”

Dierks continues, “The very first song I ever put out and my very first record ‘What Was I Thinkin’’ had Jake on the cover artwork and featured a really prominent dobro solo played by Randy Kohrs. So, it’s kind of in a way bookending Jake’s life with me and my life so far really ‘cause he’s been there from a single man to finding my wife and my kids and he’s had to adapt to all of these circumstances. So this really is an end of a big era for me and obviously for Jake, so it really bookends my life so far between ‘What Was I Thinkin’’ and ‘Can’t Be Replaced.’ That’s my life with Jake, so it’s kind of has some layers to it for me, for sure.”

Bentley had shows this past weekend in both Ohio and Michigan, and the energy he received from the fans, as well as his road crew and band, was well needed. “Hard to express how much i needed our fans, my band, my crew and the show this weekend” Dierks shared on social media. He then followed up with a tweet announcing the passing of his four legged friend Jake.
