Chris Lane’s “I Don’t Know About You” Music Video Quickly Surpasses 20 Million Views

As Chris Lane’s hard-crushing single “I Don’t Know About You” continues to climb the charts and garner millions of streams, the track’s music video has surpassed 20 MILLION views in less than 5 months since its premiere on CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown. The video is holding strong in the Top 5 most on-demand streamed clips YTD in the U.S. of all Country videos released in the last year (Nielsen Music).

The Big Loud Records star takes his acting skills to the next level in the video, with the views clocking in at such a rapid rate that it’s become his fastest-climbing video to date. Directed by Justin Clough and shot outside Nashville, TN, the video is set in a small-town bar, where Lane spends all night trying to learn the name of a mystery girl he spots at the moment he walks in — seeking the answer to the first question of the song’s catchy chorus — “What’s your name? What’s your sign? What’s your birthday?”

Watch the “I Don’t Know About You” music video and see the surprise twist ending.

The fan-favorite track is inspiring massive sing-alongs across the country, evidenced on Lane’s headline LAPS AROUND THE SUN TOUR that wrapped earlier this year. Wall-to-wall crowds will get a first-hand look at the song’s buzzworthy live impact when he starts the party on the second leg of sold-out DAN + SHAY THE TOUR. Then, he will serve as direct support for Brad Paisley’s 2019 WORLD TOUR beginning May 30 in Albuquerque, NM. Lane will perform overseas for the first time ever as he joins Paisley for international dates in 7 European countries.

Jimmie Allen To Make Good Morning America Debut on March 14

Singer/songwriter and Stoney Creek Records/BBR Music Group artist Jimmie Allen is set to perform “21” off his debut album, Mercury Lane, on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Thursday, March 14. Allen’s first-time GMA performance follows a number of firsts for the year and 2019 has just begun!

Those milestones include the release of his second single “Make Me Want To,” his first Academy of Country Music Award nomination for New Male Artist of the Year, a first-time performance at C2C Country to Country in London, a recently-announced performance spot on CMA Fest’s Chevy Riverfront Stage this summer and the debut of a sizzling cover of the GRAMMY, Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning smash hit “Shallow” (see the video with fellow country newcomer, Abby Anderson here).

Allen made history with his breakout three-week No. 1 debut single, “Best Shot,” described by Rolling Stone as a “rare honest love song, with a catchy, melodic chorus that flirts with pop-rock power balladry,” enabling the Delaware native to etch his name in history as the first black artist to launch their career with a No. 1 at Country radio.

His follow up single, “Make Me Want To,” is the second from Allen’s debut album Mercury Lane, which The New York Times asserts is one of 2018’s strongest and describes it as “a conventional country album, filled with songs about the small details.” “Make Me Want To” was Most Added at Country Radio with 61 stations reporting in the first week and is currently making its way up the chart.

Allen recently wrapped his supporting stint on Kane Brown’s Live Forever Tour and will be hitting the road this summer as support on Chris Young’s Raised on Country Tour and Rascal Flatts’ Summer Playlist Tour

King Calaway Makes Impressive Debut At Country Radio With Most Added Single “World For Two”

Emerging Nashville-based band King Calaway continues to take the music world by storm, as their single “World For Two” claimed the title of Most Added song at Country radio in its first week bow. The feat further solidifies the six-piece band’s status as an act on the rise after recently making their Grand Ole Opry debut and being named one of seven country acts to watch in 2019 by Billboard and one of Amazon Music’s “2019 Artists To Watch.”

“World For Two” is the band’s first single off their debut self-titled EP, which was released on January 25, 2019. The EP received high acclaim from fans and critics alike, with Billboard commending it as “rife with thick harmonies [and] poppy energy.” Naming the BBR Music Group/BMG Recording Artist their “latest obsession,” Hollywood Life also praises the “stunning harmonies” on the single calling it “a heavenly sound.”

Watch the video for “World For Two,” which premiered on People.com, HERE.

Co-produced by music vet Robert Deaton and Ross Copperman, bandmates Jordan Harvey, Chad Michael Jervis, Simon Dumas, Chris Deaton, Caleb Miller and Austin Luther all came together in 2018 to take over the country scene as the multi-national supergroup of harmony-singing, instrument-playing musicians embracing their love of Country music while pushing the boundaries of what being a Country artist means.
