Florida Georgia Line Along with BeBe Rexha Celebrate 1 Billion Streams with Hit Single “Meant To Be”

Global superstars FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE and breakout Pop phenomenon BEBE REXHA celebrate another milestone as their slow-burning crossover collaboration, “Meant to Be,” tops 1 BILLION GLOBAL STREAMS.

Measuring all digital audio and video streams worldwide, the achievement proves once again that good vibes and great music are truly a universal language. Penned by FGL’s Tyler Hubbard and Rexha alongside Josh Miller and David Garcia, “Meant to Be” holds the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart for the 26th consecutive week, surpassing FGL’s own “Cruise” for the second-longest reign overall. With this impressive #1 streak, the 3X PLATINUM-certified hit continues to make chart history with previous feats including FGL’s first #1 Hot County Songs debut, marking the third #1 debut for the chart ever, and Rexha becoming the first solo female to debut at the top spot. Remaining a fixture on both Pop and Country radio, the song’s free-and-easy music video has racked up over 430.9 million plus YouTube views.

New tunes from both Rexha and FGL are on the way. For Rexha, her highly anticipated full length album, EXPECTATIONS, will be released on June 22. And for FGL, the superstar duo revealed via social media that they’re currently approving mixes for their fourth album. The fresh project will follow the PLATINUM-certified success of 2016’s DIG YOUR ROOTS (BMLG Records), which delivered three consecutive #1 smashes: 4X PLATINUM-certified “H.O.L.Y.” and PLATINUM-certified hits “May We All” (ft. Tim McGraw) and “God, Your Mama, And Me” (ft. Backstreet Boys).

After breaking down genre barriers last year with THE SMOOTH TOUR 2017 – the stadium-filling run featuring special guests Hip-Hop icon Nelly and Pop idols Backstreet Boys – FGL has a jam-packed schedule of festival dates this summer. The duo is tied for the most nominations going into the CMT Music Awards with four nods, including two with Rexha for Collaborative Video of the Year and the coveted Video of the Year trophy, in addition to Duo Video of the Year for “Smooth” and 2018 Performance of the Year with Backstreet Boys for “Everybody” from their high-rated CMT Crossroads episode. Airing live from Nashville on June 6 at 8/7c, fans can vote online now at http://www.cmt.com/cmt-music-awards/vote. Later in the week, FGL joins the annual CMA Fest for a headline performance at Nissan Stadium on June 10.

Eli Young Band Releases New Single “Love Ain’t” and Powerful Music Video

Eli Young Band recently released “Love Ain’t” and a powerful music video that shine a light on the sacrifices partners make for one another. The cinematic journey is an all-too-real situation many Americans like military veteran Taylor Morris and his wife Danielle face daily. The extraordinary couple have found strength in each other through unimaginable tragedy when Morris became a quadruple amputee after being involved in an explosion in Afghanistan and Danielle dropped everything to be at his side. Because “Love Ain’t always easy…but that’s when it matters most,” shares lead singer Mike Eli as the video begins.

“We first learned about Taylor and Danielle a couple of years ago, and there is no doubt their story speaks to what love is,” recounts Eli. “When thinking about their story and the deeper meaning in this song – how important love is and to know what love ain’t – we knew the video should reflect that. James, Chris, Jon and I all have family members who are part of the military so we know there are more couples struggling every day and how quickly lives are changed.”

Bassist Jon Jones adds, “It’s both heartbreaking and incredibly inspiring to see their bond yet know so many people have stories just like Taylor and Danielle’s. Whether it is talking to our families or speaking with servicemen and women at bases, we understand the commitment and resilience at stake. Helping to share these stories is the reason we chose to align with Wounded Warrior Project® and encourage us all to recognize these heroes who prove what love can overcome.”

EYB was drawn to the pair’s story and unwavering connection throughout the worst of circumstances. They chose to support with Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) because of the incredible work they do to empower, serve and connect. The often-unspoken truth is that warriors come back from deployment and not only have to live completely differently, but their relationships are affected as well. Since 2003, WWP has been meeting the growing needs of warriors, their families, and caregivers – helping them achieve their highest ambition. EYB hopes this story will bring awareness to the resources WWP can provide as an aid in transition processes. Donations can be made and more information on the organization’s efforts at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

“The Eli Young Band has our sincere gratitude for their support,” said WWP CEO Lt. Gen. (Ret.) Mike Linnington. “The awareness they raise around the work our organization does is instrumental in ensuring we can continue to support the warriors, family members, and caregivers we serve.”

Gravitating towards titles with lyrical twists – PLATINUM-certified No. 1 hits “Drunk Last Night,” “Even If It Breaks Your Heart” and 2X-PLATINUM “Crazy Girl” – EYB naturally fell into a groove recording “Love Ain’t” and found a stronger connection recalling what Taylor and Danielle endured. Ross Copperman, Ashley Gorley and Shane McAnally penned the Dann Huff-produced track.

Selling out venues as a headliner from coast to coast, they have also toured with Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Toby Keith, Darius Rucker and Dave Matthews Band. EYB will preview the new song to fans across the country this summer, including the pre-race concert for the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on May 27, ahead of “Love Ain’t” officially impacting Country radio on June 25. Chris Janson Drives The Message Home with “Drunk Girl” Music Video

Critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter and entertainer Chris Janson trades in his “fiery harmonica licks” (Los Angeles Times) for “a sensitive sitting-at-the-piano song” that “turns expectations on their head” (Philadelphia Inquirer) with his latest single, “Drunk Girl,” written by Janson, Tom Douglas, and Scooter Carusoe. Now, he puts a new story to the poignant song with the release of its official music video, directed by Jeff Venable.

The song was written from a concerned father’s perspective, and the music video paints a realistic portrait of a young girl as she experiences relationships throughout her life.

People.com premiered the video that contains sensitive topics. “We don’t ever want to offend anybody,” says Janson. “but man, it’s almost a disservice if you don’t bring light to some subjects that are so important and don’t get talked about nearly as much as they should.”

Rolling Stone Country’s feature on the video states, “Chris Janson offers a stark look at the issue of consent in the new music video for ‘Drunk Girl.’” Janson tells Rolling Stone, “If my daughters were in that situation, I hope someone would treat them with that respect.”

In addition to its powerful message, the piece offers a rare look at an illuminated but empty lower Broadway. Janson and the crew shut down Nashville’s famed downtown street to capture the visual. He discussed the making of the video and more on a special YouTube Live from the stage at the Grand Ole Opry.

“Drunk Girl” has made waves in Music City and beyond from the outset, with CMT calling it “quite possibly the most important song to come out of Nashville in years.” Now approaching Top 25 at country radio with more than 18 million streams, the single has earned a nomination for Music Row’s “Song of the Year” award. Upon the release of “Drunk Girl” the publication declared, “Each vocal performance seems more expressive than the one before… extraordinary intimacy… a wonderfully inventive lyric about behaving like a gentleman. A superb record.”

Janson is the newest and youngest living Opry member. His high-octane live performances are heavily praised. He closed out the 53rd Annual ACM Awards in Las Vegas with an up-tempo rocker that Billboard described and “rip-roaring” and “hyper-turnt.” iHeartRadio’s Bobby Bones has declared “there is no stage too big for [Janson],” and now fans can see for themselves all summer on Jake Owen’s “Life’s Whatcha Make It 2018 Tour.” He will also bring his party-starting dynamism to festival and headlining dates throughout the nation, including Nashville’s Let Freedom Sing! Music City’s July 4th concert.

Ashley McBryde Announces Her Headlining “The Girl Going Nowhere Tour”

Ashley McBryde is taking her big voice, blue-collar storytelling, and potent stage presence on the road for her first headlining tour throughout the U.S. and Europe. Tickets go on sale this Friday, May 25.

“The Girl Going Nowhere Tour” will be going everywhere this fall hitting multiple cities beginning Sept. 5 in Atlanta, Georgia with international stops in the U.K. and Scotland, before culminating Dec. 15 in Rochester, New York (full details below).

The tour follows on the heels of McBryde’s wildly successful Warner Music Nashville release, Girl Going Nowhere, which was produced and mixed by Jay Joyce. The record showcases McBryde’s artistic vision and quickly established her as one of the genre’s keenest songwriters bringing unwavering honesty back into a pop-preoccupied genre.

On Pollstar’s cover this month, the headline reads, “Ashley McBryde: A Girl Going Everywhere And Doing It By Just Being Herself.” The Arkansas native has been described by notable music critic Ann Powers as having “one of those voices that might belong to your sister or your best friend – if your sister or your best friend could belt like Loretta Lynn and croon like Reba McEntire.” She summed up her talent by saying McBryde was “Country music’s most exciting new country voice.”

No stranger to the stage, McBryde has opened for some of the biggest names in country music, including industry heavyweights Chris Stapleton and Eric Church. In conjunction with the success of “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega,” the singer/songwriter played select dates on the “Sirius XM Presents: The Highway Finds Tour” including stops in Washington, D.C., New York, and Nashville and most recently hit the road opening for Luke Combs on his “Don’t Tempt Me With a Good Time Tour” and Miranda Lambert’s “Livin’ Like Hippies Tour.”

Now McBryde is ready to take her rock-fueled fury and candor on the road headlining her own “The Girl Going Nowhere Tour” in the below markets. One of the women that Paste declares is “saving country music from itself” will be making one special stop for a benefit show in November celebrating the powerful work by Girls Inc., a non-profit organization with the central goal of empowering and inspiring girls and young women, something this “girl going nowhere” knows a thing or two about.
