Ryan Hurd Adds Additional Dates To His “To A T” Tour

Hailed for his stripped-down authenticity, RCA Records Nashville artist/songwriter Ryan Hurd has added even more dates to his “To A Tour,” which has played to capacity crowds at some of the most respected music rooms in the country. Joining the tour is official beer sponsor, Corona.

Just added concert stops include Boston, MA (4/19), Jordan, NY (4/20), Grand Rapids, MI (5/16), and Rootstown, Ohio (5/17). Tickets go on sale Friday, March 15.

ET Live said of the LA opener, that Hurd “crushes his first headlining show.” Touring mainstay Pollstar’s review stated, “Not built for flash or two-dimensional bro-downs, his smaller scale works from an honest place. For people struggling to connect in a world increasingly impersonal and alienated, that smaller scale, that basic rock and plangent emotional palette are compelling.”

With career streams exceeding 100 million worldwide, Hurd has a gripping point of view and an eager audience. He recently released his endearing, love letter, “To A T,” to country radio. The song already hit No. 1 on the SiriusXM The Highway’s Hot 30 Countdown and has caught the attention of entertainment tastemakers including men’s lifestyle playbook Esquire.

Hurd co-wrote the sultry “To A T” with Laura Veltz and Nathan Spicer with attention-grabbing bass, sonic guitar work, and drop-you-in-your-tracks harmony from creative muse and wife, Maren Morris.

Hurd’s ascension seems obvious. He was named the only country artist on Sirius XM’s all-genre “Future Five” for 2019. He was tapped by AOL as one of their country artists set for a breakout year, Amazon Music’s Best of 2018, and named an Artist to Watch by VEVO, Pandora, CMT, The Huffington Post, and Rolling Stone Country, which lauded him for “generating major buzz” and “making waves.”

The praise is earned. The native of Kalamazoo, MI is one of Nashville’s most multi-dimensional young songwriters. He has had co-pen credits on some of the format’s biggest hits including “Lonely Tonight” (Blake Shelton), “You Look Good” (Lady Antebellum), and “Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset” (Luke Bryan). Now with the release of his own music, fans are discovering the fuel that drives Hurd is often love with all its avatars.

Hurd recently released new music “Michigan For The Winter,” which is available on all digital retailers and streaming platforms with “To A T” and “Diamonds Or Twine.” Listen HERE.

Steve Moakler Is Ready To “Slow Down” A Bit With Release Of New Music Video

Steve Moakler shares a personal and heartwarming new music video for his track, “Slow Down.” Capturing snippets from being out on the road, and personal moments between Steve, wife Gracie and newborn son Jackson, the “home-video” style brings “Slow Down” to life. Check out the video below, or click here.

“The heart behind #SlowDown has come full-circle in my life” Moakler shares via social media. “We kicked off the Born Ready album cycle about a year ago with a highway anthem… From there, we embarked on two national tours where lived out the words to that song. We had no idea that Gracie was pregnant, and the fact that we found out in the middle of the “Born Ready” tour is truly comical to me.”

“Slow Down” has a personal meaning for the singer/songwriter and is becoming a way of life for Moakler as he shares that he is going to take a break from the road for a bit.

“Anyway, over 70 shows and 20,000 miles later, our son Jackson arrived and I’m finally giving the tires a little break from spinning” Moakler reveals “It was a wild ride to get to here, and I’m thankful for all the memories we made with you guys before we pulled back into the driveway. We appreciate all the love and support! I hope you enjoy this mini-video!”

“Slow Down” can be found on his latest album, Born Ready, which is available now. Check out the album here.

Thompson Square Inks New Record Deal with Reviver Entertainment Group

The Reviver Entertainment Group is proud to announce the signing of MULTI-PLATINUM Country chart-toppers THOMPSON SQUARE. The award-winning husband-and-wife duo of Keifer and Shawna Thompson have inked a worldwide recording deal that includes publishing – joining the Reviver family with a fresh level of excitement for their new creative era.

Known for the 2X-PLATINUM #1 smash “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not” (Country radio’s most-played song of 2011), the PLATINUM-certified #1 “If I Didn’t Have You” and more, Keifer and Shawna unleashed a new blast of creativity with 2018’s MASTERPIECE. Inspired by the birth of their son Cooper in 2016, the duo’s third studio album mixes Country-rock intensity with soulful R&B and adventurous grooves, plus the couple’s signature romantic connection and tender, family-focused themes.

Joining forces with Reviver marks the beginning of a much-anticipated new chapter for the duo, and for their global fanbase.

“Thompson Square has written and recorded a brilliant project in MASTERPIECE,” says Reviver Records President Gator Michaels. “In addition to being incredibly talented, Keifer and Shawna are wonderful people. We couldn’t be more proud to have them join our family at Reviver Entertainment.”

“We have found a group of like-minded people who are as passionate about our music and career as we are,” says Thompson Square. “David, Gator and Bob have a vision that is exciting and motivating, and we cannot wait to get to work. We’re looking forward to this next chapter, and we couldn’t be surrounded by a better collection of talented and tenured individuals.”

In addition to MASTERPIECE, Keifer and Shawna recently released a stunning music video for the project’s title track, with Sounds Like Nashville hailing it as “a work of art in itself” and Billboard noting it features “all the musical elements of a Country classic.” Shot and produced by Evan Kaufmann and filmed at the Coleman Theatre in Keifer’s hometown of Miami, Oklahoma, the video captures the story of the Thompson family history – complete with home videos – intertwining the tale with an intimate live performance of the track.

Meanwhile, the duo has also written and released a children’s book titled TIME TO GET DRESSED. Born from warm-hearted memories of the couple’s daily ritual with Cooper, and the song Keifer would sing to help him through it, the cute and colorful lesson book was illustrated by Ana Patankar and is available now.

Looking ahead, Thompson Square is gearing up for a summer tour to promote the critically acclaimed MASTERPIECE. Select dates are already on tap in Menifee, California (3/30); Grand Rapids, MI (4/5); and Kent, OH (4/6); with more information coming soon.

Devin Dawson Announces “California Smoke Tour” To Benefit The California Fire Foundation

Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville recording artist Devin Dawson is deeply connected to his home state of California. That’s why the Orangeville native has just announced the “California Smoke” Tour, which gets its name from lyrics in his current single “Dark Horse” and features stops in The Golden State only.

All proceeds from the six-date headlining run will go straight to the California Fire Foundation, aiding them in providing emotional and financial assistance to firefighters, their families and the communities they protect.

Additionally, this tour offers two unique opportunities for fans to gift a VIP experience and/or a pair of tickets to those affected by the wildfires (MORE INFO HERE).

“One of the reasons I’m stoked about this tour is because, as a California native, it’s a place very close to my heart, so I always jump at the chance to be back there,” said Dawson. “I don’t get to visit my family who still live there as often as I’d like, much less have an opportunity to play multiple shows throughout the state.”

“The fact that all the proceeds from these shows will also go toward helping people affected by the California wildfires makes it that much more special to me. We chose the California Fire Foundation because their outreach covers entire communities affected by these fires, including firefighters and their families, offering both emotional and financial support.”

“I’m so excited to get this tour started and give back to my home state in a more personal way. Hopefully it brings everyone a little joy and happiness at least while the music is playing.”

The recently engaged singer/songwriter also just premiered the official music video for “Dark Horse” (WATCH HERE) at an exclusive VIP watch party in Nashville. The song is the third single and title track off his critically-acclaimed debut LP, which was named one of 2018’s best country albums by Esquire, Rolling Stone and Billboard. Called “one of country music’s most tender and articulate wordsmiths” by The Tennessean, Dawson co-wrote every song on the album, which arrived at Top 3 and Top 5 on Billboard’s Country Albums Charts.
