Brett Young’s “In Case You Didn’t Know” Continues To Top Vevo’s Country Chart

ACM Awards New Male Vocalist of the Year nominee Brett Young tops Vevo’s Country Chart with “In Case You Didn’t Know” for the third consecutive week. The music video for his current single was filmed at The Tivoli Theatre in Chattanooga where director Peter Zavadil chronicled Brett as he makes his way to the stage for an intimate performance.

This is the second song from his self-titled album, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart last month and has already produced the chart-topping GOLD-certified “Sleep Without You.” The BMLG Records’ release is available now here

Written by Brett alongside Tyler Reeve, Kyle Schlienger and Trent Tomlinson, “In Case You Didn’t Know” has been holding steady in the Top 5 on the iTunes Top Country Songs Chart since its release and is currently No. 2 on Shazam’s Country Chart. The emotional ballad has already reached No. 1 on SiriusXM’s The Highway as Taste of Country raves, “’In Case You Didn’t Know’ is the best example of a song that is pure poetry set to guitar.”

The Washington Post is taking notice of his rising profile stating, “…Young is in the fast lane to become one of country’s breakout stars.” After wrapping his stint on Luke Bryan’s KILL THE LIGHTS TOUR this week, Brett will join Justin Moore and Lee Brice on the AMERICAN MADE TOUR before heading to Canada with Thomas Rhett’s HOME TEAM TOUR. Fueling momentum as one of the most in-demand new Country stars, he will also spend the summer opening on Lady Antebellum’s YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR.

Reba Reveals Her Madame Tussauds Wax Figure

Madame Tussauds, the world-famous wax attraction slated to open its newest location in Nashville on April 14, joined forces with Reba McEntire to debut her first wax figure.

The country superstar met her likeness in Las Vegas ahead of REBA, BROOKS & DUNN: Together in Vegas, the longest running country music residency ever at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Her wax figure served as the real Reba’s stand-in during her sound check while Madame Tussauds Nashville captured the fun moment here.

The figure, which will be featured in the finale of the attraction on a replica of the Grand Ole Opry stage, depicts Reba mid-performance, allowing guests to step into the music with the country icon. Her figure will be outfitted in a stage outfit Reba wore while singing her megahit—and signature encore— “Fancy.” To ensure an exact likeness, Reba loaned her dress, shoes and jewelry to the costume department of Madame Tussauds who recreated the outfit capturing every minor detail, from beading to contour.

Last fall, Madame Tussauds Nashville hosted a social contest where fans nominated the artists they would most like to see take the stage at the attraction. Reba was overwhelmingly named the winner of the contest—a true testament to her dedicated following throughout the years and diverse projects. The mogul and mom has become a household name with a successful career that spans across music, television, film, theater and retail.

“I tried to find differences between me and the figure and there weren’t any,” said Reba McEntire. “I’m really blown away with how great it looks, it’s like looking in a mirror.”

Each Madame Tussauds figure is truly a work of art, involving teams of professional artists and sculptors who spend months on extensive research and take more than 300 measurements to recreate world-famous icons to achieve the kind of astonishing realism that has been at the heart of the 250-year Madame Tussauds legacy.

With a completely different concept, the attraction in Nashville will be the company’s first offering in the U.S. that focuses solely on music icons that have shaped America’s musical landscape. Guests are encouraged to have fun with the famous stars from musical genres such as Country, Rock n Roll, Blues and Pop.

Additional figures hitting the stage at Madame Tussauds Nashville include Beyoncé, Billie Holiday, Blake Shelton, Bob Dylan, Carrie Underwood, Ella Fitzgerald, Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Johnny Cash, Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Kenny Rogers, Little Jimmy Dickens, Louis Armstrong, Luke Bryan, Miley Cyrus, Minnie Pearl, Rayna Jaymes & Deacon Claybourne, Rihanna, Stevie Wonder and Taylor Swift. More artists will be added to the bill within the coming weeks.

Fans can save $5 off the regular price by purchasing early bird tickets to the attraction.

Carly Pearce Releases Music Video for Debut Single “Every Little Thing”

Filmed with an understated canvas from a live studio session, CARLY PEARCE delivers hauntingly heartbreaking memories throughout the new music video for her debut single “Every Little Thing,” available here.

Opening with tight shots featuring the bones of each instrument enveloped in a crimson filter and dim glow, director Patrick Tracy captures every little thing at Brown Owl Studio. The sparse set creates a moody visual to match the raw tone of the song that mixes cascading notes. Carly’s dynamic vocals pierce through stinging lyrics like: The scent that you left on my pillow / The sound of your heartbeat with mine / The look in your eyes like a window / The taste of your kiss soaked in wine / Every little thing / I remember every little thing / The high, the hurt, the shine, the sting / Every little thing.

CMT launched the video during the network’s Hot 20 Countdown over the weekend, further showing their support for the Next Women of Country alum and Listen Up “17 for 2017” artist. Several others have taken notice of Carly with Rolling Stone CountryThe Huffington PostCountry LivingSounds Like NashvilleThe BootWhiskey Riff and One Country all naming her an “Artist to Watch.”

Carly co-wrote “Every Little Thing” with Emily Shackelton and busbee (Maren Morris, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum), who also serves as producer of her debut album on Big Machine Label Group. Ahead of her first single’s official Country radio impact date on March 20, the track was originally discovered as a SiriusXM “Highway Find” and has already garnered over one million streams to date.

Born into Bluegrass, the Kentucky native began touring with a local band at age 11 before taking on six shows a day, five days a week at Dollywood when she was only 16. Now, after eight years collaborating with fellow songwriters in Nashville, a sultry Top 40 hit with Josh Abbott Band, more than 30 appearances on the Grand Ole Opry stage and joining bills with notable artists such as Kelsea Ballerini, Kip Moore, Eli Young Band, Hunter Hayes and Lucy Hale of Pretty Little Liars, Carly will spend the next few months introducing her voice to audiences across the country.
