Lauren Alaina Releases “Doin’ Fine” Music Video

Lauren Alaina releases the brand-new music video for her current single, Doin’ Fine.” Directed by Carlos Ruiz, the powerful video highlights a multitude of emotions. With unrestrained honesty and passion, Lauren describes the challenges she has faced throughout her emotional journey.

“When a really big life changing event takes place, you feel a flood of emotions,” shares Lauren. “Some days you cry. Some days you’re angry and some days you’re happy. It was really important to me to use the three and a half minutes of the video to share all of the emotions I felt while watching my parents go through a divorce, seeing my dad through rehab, and my adjusting to a new life in Nashville. Life is full of unpredictability, and so are we. It’s okay to not be okay all of the time, but we have to get to a place where we are ‘Doin’ Fine.’”

“Doin’ Fine” follows the success of her first No. 1 smash hit, “Road Less Traveled.” Lauren recently earned MusicRow’s Breakthrough Artist Writer of the Year award and CMT’s Breakthrough Video of the Year award for “Road Less Traveled.” She is now nominated for her very first CMA Award in the Best New Artist category.

The music video for “Doin’ Fine” is available worldwide and the single can be found on Lauren’s sophomore studio album, Road Less Traveled, which PEOPLE Magazine calls “full of life lessons and uplift.” Lauren recently toured with Luke Bryan on his Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day Tour and this fall, the “sassy Southerner with killer pipes” (Parade) heads out on a cross-country Canadian tour.

Jason Aldean Cancels Weekend Tour Stops Following Vegas Tragedy

Following the tragedy that took place in Las Vegas this past weekend, one that Jason Aldean and his crew experienced first hand, Aldean has cancelled his tour dates in California this coming weekend out of respect for the victims. The cities include Los Angeles, San Diego and Anaheim. The singer/songwriter issued a statement about the cancelled dates, and plans to resume his They Don’t Know Tour in Tulsa, OK on October 12.

As a result of what happened in Las Vegas this week, we have decided to cancel this coming weekend’s shows. I feel like out of respect for the victims, their families and our fans, it is the right thing to do. It has been an emotional time for everyone involved this week, so we plan to take some time to mourn the ones we have lost and be close with our family and friends. Our plan is to resume the tour the following week in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Our first time back onstage will be a very tough and emotional thing for us, but we will all get through it together and honor the people we lost by doing the only thing we know how to do – play our songs for them. I hope everyone understands why we can’t play this weekend and I’m sorry if anyone is disappointed.

I want to say thank you for the outpouring of love from my friends and fans we have received over the last couple days. You guys have no idea how much you have helped get us through this tough time.

Thank You and God Bless.
JA

Kellie Pickler Honors Late Grandmother with New Single “If It Wasn’t For A Woman”

Country music singer, songwriter, co-host of nationally-syndicated show, “Pickler & Ben Show,” and star of CMT’s “I Love Kellie Pickler” continues her streak of new milestones with her most personal release yet, “If It Wasn’t For A Woman.” Pickler co-wrote with her husband Kyle Jacobs and songwriter Brian Bunn.

The song was inspired by and written in tribute to Pickler’s late grandmother, Faye Pickler, the woman who raised her and continues to serve as one of the most important inspirations in Pickler’s life.

Pickler notably debuted the song with Jacobs accompanying her on piano during a performance at this year’s CMA Music Festival. The song is available now for download and streaming and currently climbing the iTunes Country chart.

“This song is so incredibly special to me…it means a lot to me to be able to spotlight the love of the woman who helped shape me into the woman I am today,” the country music darling shares of her grandmother Faye, who passed away from lung cancer in 2002, “One of the most beautiful things about this song is that this is real life in a song. I think so many people will identify with this sweet story.”

Kellie Pickler’s CMT docu-comedy series “I Love Kellie Pickler,” is about to wrap it’s third-season, with her and her husband’s “sweet and silly shenanigans” (Entertainment Tonight) continuing the show’s successful streak of high ratings. The hit television series follows a “hilarious and so vivacious” (Hollywood Life) Pickler and her husband songwriter/producer Kyle Jacobs, and debuted in November 2015, propelling the network to its highest premiere with adults since 2012 and women since 2008. “I Love Kellie Pickler” returned for its third season in August of 2017.

Pickler also recently debuted as the host of new Nashville-based daytime talk show “Pickler & Ben” co-hosted by media personality Ben Aaron. The show, directed by the award-winning Joe Terry (“The Oprah Winfrey Show”) launched nationally on September 18 to milestone ratings and ranking No. 1 in the time slot in the Nashville market. “Pickler & Ben” is produced by Grammy Award-winning superstar Faith Hill, co-founder of Happy Street Entertainment, Lisa Erspamer, and president and CEO of Sandbox Entertainment Jason Owen in partnership with The E.W. Scripps Company.
