Martina McBride Announces Release of New Album RECKLESS April 29, Premieres Video

Launching the title track on February 26th, award-winning country superstar Martina McBride has debuted the transformative new music video. Watch RECKLESS now, which filmed in Watertown with director Jeff Venable. The Grammy®-nominated vocalist, who spent the last several months in the studio working on her 13th studio album, will release RECKLESS on April 29th through Nash Icon Records.

“This album feels so good! That’s the best way I can describe it.  I spent a lot of time finding songs that felt personal to me. I figure if I can relate to them someone else will too. There are songs about love, life, hope, loss, leaving, and coming home,” states McBride.

Recorded at Nashville’s iconic Blackbird Studios, RECKLESS, showcases McBride’s unparalleled vocals and emotional depth as she gets back to her country roots. The songs have an outstanding mix of classic country and a contemporary edge with producers Nathan Chapman and Dann Huff at the helm.

“And that’s what making this album felt like to me….coming home. We took our time and just let the songs and production develop and even though working with Dann and Nathan together was a new experience, somehow we captured a sound that feels like the music I’ve done my whole career and yet fresh at the same time,” elaborates McBride.

Petmate Teams Up with Miranda Lambert to Introduce the MuttNation Pet Collection

Petmate®, the worldwide provider of fun, trusted, quality products to enhance the lives of pets and their families, and country music superstar Miranda Lambert are teaming up to launch the new MuttNation™ Fueled by Miranda Lambert brand at Global Pet Expo March 16-18, 2016 in Orlando, Florida.

Every purchase will help fund rescue and adoption programs of MuttNation Foundation™, the organization established by Miranda and her mother Beverly Lambert in 2009.

Miranda’s love for animals has always been a big part of her life. Growing up in a home with an open door policy for people and animals alike, she has adopted that mindset for her own life.  Volunteering at the Humane Society of East Texas in her teens has led her to adopting Delilah and ultimately started “Cause for the Paws”, a yearly fundraiser now in its 8th year.

“The creation of MuttNation is a dream come true.  It’s an extension of me and my mom’s love for all dogs and our goal of helping every dog find a happy, loving home,” says Miranda.  “We are beyond thrilled to have Petmate as a committed and trustworthy partner that shares that same vision. There are millions of beautiful dogs looking for homes and it is our hope that in addition to raising money, we will raise awareness to the joy of adopting a shelter pet.”

The comprehensive collection of bedding, collars, leashes, toys, apparel, feeding and watering products reflect Miranda’s lifestyle. The product unites a country chic feel with a rock & roll flair. The vintage prints and antique hardware are inspirations of Miranda Lambert’s signature look.

One of the highlights is the Rescue Mutts collection of six plush puppies – each toy puppy was created from a real-life rescue dog with its own story. Each tale is a touching depiction of the dog’s adoption and their new family. This particular toy is very close to Miranda’s heart as her own dog Delilah was her very first rescue and is featured in the Rescue Mutt collection.

Petmate has always supported rescue and adoption efforts. “This partnership represents a major commitment to help put a stop to the epidemic of homeless pets sweeping our nation,” says Chris Wilson, the company’s executive vice president for product development.  “We are so excited to create a collection that provides ongoing support for MuttNation Foundation.  The MuttNation product line truly reflects Miranda’s lifestyle and her passion for pets.”

Toys In addition to the Rescue Mutts, the toy collection features hand-crafted, mixed material toys with a Boho style designed for truly engaging fetch, tug and chew play.  Miranda fans will love the suede feel plush tambourines for chew play, guitars and animal favorites including a unicorn, flamingo, rooster and armadillo for tugging.  Perfect for fetch, toss and tug, chewing and teething, the molded rubber guitar can hold small treats stashed inside for hours of entertainment.

Bedding The bedding collection has a down home feel providing a relaxed yet stylish look for the home.  The superstar of the line is a tooled leather styled lounger with Petmate’s signature Dig & Burrow feature that taps into dogs’ love for nesting.  The line rounds out with loungers, pillow beds, and irresistibly soft cuddlers in pink plaids, brown cow prints, denim, and a custom bandana print.

Collars and Leashes The collars and leashes collection features a blend of  “Country” and “Rock & Roll.” Collars are custom fit, with mixed material feels like denim and leather, tassels and bows with antique brass and nickel hardware.  The standout Bandana Neckerchief collars embrace the Americana spirit of country life.

Watering and Feeding This collection features vintage-inspired finishes including mats with tooled leather, red bandana, rustic burlap and chalkboard photo-real prints.  The square melamine bowls bring a nostalgic tone to the line while the rustic crock bowls tap into country chic.

Love and Theft Signs with Curb Records

Chart topping duo Love and Theft, known for their high-energy performances and emotionally forthright lyrics, have signed to Curb Records, one of the world’s leading independent music companies.

“We’re extremely excited and proud to have Love and Theft joining the Curb Records family,” says Jim Ed Norman, CEO of The Curb Group. “The chance to work with great artistry is first and foremost a privilege, but getting to add the incredible management team at Vector and long time friend and award winning Producer Josh Leo, is uncommonly rewarding. 1-2-3-GO!”

Taylor Childress, Vice President of The Curb Group adds, “This is AWESOME! We couldn’t be more fired up to welcome Stephen and Eric to the Curb family.  They are true artists in every sense of the word and we can’t wait to get to work with them and their team on taking their artistry to even greater heights.”

With their third record Whiskey On My Breath available now, the ACM/CMA/CMT-nominated duo Stephen Barker Liles and Eric Gunderson reveal growth as songwriters, as they push boundaries and build momentum that started with their #1 country smash “Angel Eyes” and Top 10 hit “Runaway.” The pair also saw top 40 success with “Dancing In Circles,” “Runnin’ Out Of Air,” “If You Ever Get Lonely,” and “Night That You’ll Never Forget.”

The title track from Whiskey On My Breath has recently been given a shot of adrenaline by Bobby Bones who fell in love with the song while touring with Love and Theft. The iHeart radio host was inspired by the powerful ballad touting the strength of the single as the next number one Country hit.

Whiskey On My Breath, which Liles and Gunderson co-produced with longtime friend Josh Leo (Alabama, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Restless Heart), was released independently via their own label, Hate & Purchase Music, allowing them greater liberty when writing and recording.

“We realized we had a chance to give fans a record that best represented us as artists when we decided to release the new album independently,” says Gunderson. “By signing with Curb, who are an independent company themselves, we have an amazing opportunity to work with them while keeping our integrity as artists.”

“We are honored to be signed to Curb Records,” Barker Liles adds.  “Mike Curb and Jim Ed Norman are both legends who share our passion for music and independence, so to be a part of a team who understands and believes in who we are and the music we are making is inspiring.”

Eric Church Strikes Back Against Scalpers… Again

Eric Church is again taking strong action to ensure his fans come first. Last November, he revealed to the more than 80,000 members of the Church Choir that inspiration had struck and resulted in his new album Mr. Misunderstood, which he shared with them first and free of charge before putting it on sale. That insistence that his fans come first now has the man Stereoum dubbed “our greatest working rock star” standing up to scalpers in light of recent on-sales for his back-to-back intimate engagements at Red Rocks Amphitheater.

“I get asked all the time about my favorite venue, and I always answer the same way. Red Rocks. When people ask why, I just smile and say, ‘you must not have been there.’ It’s truly breathtaking,” the ACM Entertainer of the Year nominee shares. “I’m honored to have two shows there.”

Upon their normal review of the orders for the two nights, Church and his team discovered that a total of 2,700 tickets were purchased by known scalpers, including more than 750 tickets purchased by a Texas-based scalper ring, all of which were cancelled. “I do want to add a quick word about the scalpers,” Church insists. “I have never seen more relentless, nefarious and frankly disgusting efforts to defraud the fans and the general public. Six words for you thugs: You Will Not Win. I Will.”

Q Prime South’s Fielding Logan has long spearheaded Church’s war on scalpers noting, “On an ongoing basis, our team will continue to examine ticket orders and cancel tickets purchased by scalpers.”

So when the more than 19,000 concert attendees arrive in Morrison, Colorado and see “sold out” across its iconic marquee for two nights, the Church Choir can feel confident that the Chief is doing everything he can to help the fans in the fight against scalpers.

Randy Houser Releases New Album, Announces New Single

Randy Houser has packed a lot of heat into the week leading up to today’s release of his highly anticipated new album, Fired Up, from landing his fourth No. 1 with the album’s lead single “We Went” and performing it on ABC’s Good Morning America to premiering his new single, “Song Number 7,”across country radio worldwide today.

The first new music from Houser in more than three years, Fired Up delivers 17 songs in total and is produced by Derek George, who also guided Houser’s breakthrough 2013 album How Country Feels.

“We’ve waited a long time to get this new music out, because we wanted to get it right,” said Houser. “I put my heart and soul into my music and every album is a reflection of where I am in my life, which hopefully other people can relate to. I’m so thankful to be in a really great place right now with this album, and I can’t wait to play the new music on the road this summer!”

Fired Up is already racking up rave reviews, with the New York Timescalling it “his best since his 2008 debut, Anything Goes” and predicting that the new single, “Song Number 7,” is “likely to be one of the best country songs of this year. Its premise is a familiar country conceit: music about the power of music. The songwriting — by Justin Wilson, Ben Hayslip and Chris Janson — is impressive, but Mr. Houser’s performance is truly rousing, delivering soft sentiment with a gut punch.”

Rolling Stone Country echoed the enthusiasm, proclaiming that Fired Up“captures what the Mississippi native does best: huge-voiced heartbreak ballads and roadhouse rockers” and Sounds Like Nashville notes, “A versatile album that includes both Houser’s vocal prowess and diverse musicianship, Fired Up will satisfy fans who have been waiting for three years for new music from the singer. With 17 tracks that blend love ballads, heartache and a good time, Houser offers something for everyone.”

“Song Number 7” will officially go for adds at country radio on March 28, 2016 and Houser will continue to perform select dates before joining Dierks Bentley for the 2016 Somewhere On A Beach Tour in May.
