Blake Shelton Tops Billboard’s Top Country Album Charts with New Album TEXOMA SHORE

Only a year and a half after the release of his last No. 1 album If I’m Honest, Blake Shelton once again visits the peak of Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart this week with Texoma Shore. The Oklahoman’s storied career began back in 2001 with the release of his self-titled album, and the Platinum-selling recording artist now delivers his sixth chart-topping country record and eleventh all-genre Top 10.

“I can’t believe that 17 years into making records and my fans are still so supportive,” said Shelton. “I mean a No. 1 album? When I think it can’t get any better, it does – thanks to them. I love you all!”

The country superstar has scored at least one entry on the Billboard Top 200 Albums chart for eight consecutive years, including If I’m Honest (No. 3, 2016), Reloaded: 20 #1 Hits (No. 5, 2015), Bringing Back the Sunshine (No. 1, 2014), Based on a True Story (No. 3, 2013), Cheers, It’s Christmas (No. 8, 2012), Red River Blue (No. 1, 2011) Loaded: The Best of Blake Shelton (No. 11 in 2011), All About Tonight (No. 6, 2010) and Hillbilly Bone (No. 3, 2010). He has six Platinum and four Gold-certified albums to his name, along with a string of two dozen No. 1 hit singles. His most recent tune to hit radio, “I’ll Name The Dogs,” continues to rocket up the charts, reaching Top 10 within just eight weeks.

Shelton celebrated the Texoma Shore launch the week leading up to its release with worldwide song premieres, special Facebook Live events, concerts in both New York and Nashville and performances on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, TODAY, Late Night With Seth Meyers and LIVE with Kelly and Ryan. As the year draws to a close, Shelton will conclude his 13th season as a coach on NBC’s The Voice. He will kick start 2018 by taking brand new Texoma Shore tracks and old favorites on the road for his headlining “Country Music Freaks” Tour alongside Brett Eldredge, Carly Pearce and special guest Trace Adkins.

Carly Pearce Scores History-Making No. 1 with Debut Single “Every Little Thing”

Defying the odds, Carly Pearce earns the No. 1 spot this week on both the Mediabase/Country Aircheck and Billboard Country airplay charts with her blockbuster ballad “Every Little Thing.” The milestone designates Carly as the highest charting solo female debut since July 2015, and she joins an elite group as one of only four women to accomplish this feat in the past fifteen years. Since inception of the Billboard Country Airplay Chart, she is the 12th woman to do so. Carly is also the only solo female with a charting Country debut single to achieve GOLD certification in 2017 with over 500,000 in consumption sales.

“There was a time not long ago I thought my heartbreak was my own,” expressed Carly. “I’ve worked and prayed for this moment. To anyone who has embraced ‘Every Little Thing,’ you’ve changed my life so much more than I could have imagined. I am so grateful for my first-ever No. 1 and the sometimes-rough journey to this dream I’ve had since I was a little girl.”

Carly penned “Every Little Thing” with frequent collaborators and friends – Emily Shackelton and producer busbee.

Currently out on Brett Young’s CALIVILLE TOUR, Carly will join the lineup for Jack Daniel’s Music City Midnight: New Year’s Eve in Nashville (#NashvilleNYE) alongside Keith Urban, Maren Morris, Cheap Trick, Jonny P and the Fisk Jubilee Singers at the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park. In early 2018, she heads out with both Blake Shelton’s COUNTRY MUSIC FREAKS and Thomas Rhett’s LIFE CHANGES TOURS. For a full list of tour dates and more, visit CarlyPearce.com.

Cloverdayle Releases Powerful New Single, “Scars”

Rising country duo Cloverdayle just digitally released their latest single, “Scars.” Written by Chad and Rachel Hamar, “Scars” is a deeply personal track for the couple and is one that listeners can immediately connect to. Containing powerful lyrics that run deep throughout, the song resonates even further with a compelling music arrangement coupled with the delivery of Rachel’s strong leading vocals. “Scars” is both memorable and impactful, and exposes a vulnerable side to the artists on the rise.

Chad and Rachel started writing “Scars” a few years back. They wrote not only straight from their hearts, but also straight from their pain and experiences, both physically and emotionally. The husband & wife duo shared with us that after undergoing an unexpected major surgery, Rachel was diagnosed with stage 4 endometriosis which resulted in not only physical scars for Rachel, but also emotional scars for the couple as the realization of having kids naturally would be highly unlikely, if not impossible.

Rising up from their life challenges, the couple took their experiences, put them to paper and penned a powerful song that is not only about pain, but also about healing. With the trials & tribulations and tragic events that continue to impact our every day lives, Chad and Rachel deliver a song that many can relate to and connect with. As they say, music is healing and “Scars” serves as a beautiful song that is full of strength and healing.

It is songs like these that strike a chord and leave a long lasting mark. As the momentum continues to grow for Cloverdayle, “Scars” certainly serves as a driving force and game changer for the duo.

“Scars” is available now on digital music outlets, such as iTunes here. Download your copy today.

On November 27 he will notch a third year on the CMA Country Christmas special (ABC) followed by his Christmas in Rockefeller Center (NBC) on November 29. “I’m ready to bring the holidays back bigger and better than ever,” said Eldredge. “I love everything about Christmas, from the snow to decorations to the music. I can’t wait to get Glow out to fans again this season. The tree-lighting in Rockefeller Center especially has been a dream of mine since I was a kid – between that, the CMA special and my show in New York, I feel like I got all my Christmas gifts early this year.”

Eldredge released his first-ever Christmas album Glow in 2016 and this year fans can purchase a brand new vinyl of the project, now available in stores and through digital retailers.

Produced by Rob Mounsey (Elton John, James Taylor, Idina Menzel, Michael Bublé) and Jay Newland (Etta James, Paul Simon, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton), the record debuted at No. 2 on the country charts. Glow features seasonal classics and the original title track in addition to a special duet of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with Meghan Trainor. The pair’s version of the tune hit No. 1 on both the Adult Contemporary and Holiday Music charts and was declared “brilliant” by ELLE magazine.
