Chris Janson Releases Powerful Single “Drunk Girl” To Country Radio

It’s “quite possibly the most important song to come out of Nashville in years” (CMT) – and radio agrees. Chris Janson’s “Drunk Girl” arrived at country radio this week with nearly 60 stations already convinced by the single’s timely and reflective message, making him the most-added male artist on the charts this week. He released a one-shot, bare-bones live music video to support from outlets including People, Rolling Stone Country and The Tennessean.

“Thanks to everyone for the outpouring of positive love,” said Janson. “From the stories you’ve shared with me in person to the emails to the comments on social media – it’s incredible. ‘Drunk Girl’ is a very special song.”

Even before hitting country radio, “Drunk Girl” had already drawn a visible response from fans and critics alike. The Tennessean proclaimed it “a shoo-in for a song of the year nomination” with its “finely-tuned storytelling, rich with morals and values about how to treat women in their most vulnerable moments.” Sounds Like Nashville declared that “Janson delivers a message for the ages and gives a performance that… we all may be talking about at a future awards show” while Whiskey Riff offered a succinct suggestion: “In a world full of little boys, let’s take a second to let Chris Janson remind us how to be men.”

“Drunk Girl” follows closely behind Janson’s second No. 1 single “Fix A Drink” from his recently released album Everybody. The laid-back tune brought summer into the fall when it hit the top of the charts in November. Widely known for his “crazy harmonica skills” and “riveting stage style” (People), the singer / songwriter and “infectious” (Billboard) performer will take songs both new and old on the road for dates leading into 2018, including his first headlining show at Nashville’s own Ryman Auditorium, before joining Cole Swindell on February 15 to kick off the Reasons To Drink Tour.

Bailey Bryan Partners with Alex and Ani to Benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals

Next Big Thing” Bailey Bryan is partnering with ALEX AND ANI to benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. ALEX AND ANI, through its Charity by Design program, has created limited-edition Angel Charm and Unicorn Charm bangles, donating 20% of the purchase price to CMN Hospitals, helping raise funds for patient programs, new equipment, research, charitable care and more. The cause is dear to Bryan, who underwent spinal surgery at age 16 to treat her scoliosis at Seattle Children’s Hospital, a CMN hospital. The surgery left her with a scar that covers the length of her back, which inspired the song “Scars” from her debut EP SO FAR, a “burnished, rhythmically carbonated set of sharply crafted and eagerly confessional songs” (NPR).”

“It’s really awesome to get to partner with ALEX AND ANI to help benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals,” Bryan said. “I want to help kids and their families who are in need of treatment, whether it’s scoliosis surgery like me, or something else. CMN helps change lives, and I’m so glad to be able to help in some small way.”

19-year-old Bailey Bryan, who fell in love with storytelling and songwriting at an early age, penned every track on her debut EP SO FAR, which The New York Times applauds for being “filled with rich songwriting.” Since Billboard’s “Chartbreaker” first arrived on the scene with her debut single “Own It,” critics have prepared the world to “fall in love” (PEOPLE) with the singer/songwriter. The New York Times went on to hail SO FAR (300 Entertainment/Warner Music Nashville) as “excellent, infectious” while Rolling Stone and Entertainment Weekly both touted Bryan as an “artist you need to know.” The Washington State native is continuing to introduce her new music to live audiences across the country, wrapping a tour run with Chris Lane, following recent dates with Kane Brown, label-mates Dan + Shay and major summer festivals including Stagecoach, CMA Music Fest, LakeShake, Faster Horses, Watershed and more. Florida Georgia Line Expand Their Business Ventures in Nashville

Superstar duo FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE are thrilled to officially reveal plans for their latest entrepreneurial venture, a multifaceted creative compound built in the heart of Nashville’s booming entertainment community.

Envisioned as a combination of retail, creative and business space, the compound will include three main components: the TRIBE KELLEY TRADING POST, the world headquarters of TREE VIBEZ MUSIC, and an inspired new private meeting/event space concept called MEET + GREET.

“We’re so excited to build and create a space for professionals to feel inspired and creative,” shares Tyler Hubbard. “We hope to bring something new and innovative to Nashville.”

Brian Kelley agrees, “Passionate people inspire other passionate people. We thrive on letting our imaginations run wild and can’t wait to see what this city dreams up together.”

The new compound stands on 21st Avenue in Nashville’s Hillsboro Village, a vibrant neighborhood that – like FGL – embraces individuality and fosters innovation. MEET + GREET will embody those values in an especially unique way, giving members an epic place for creativity and collaboration to thrive no matter what type of business they’re in.

Designed as a garden-sanctuary environment in a fast-paced center of commerce and genius, meeting spaces, coffee, food, community and good vibes will lend an easy-going, inspirational tone – the perfect setting for holding a staff meeting, connecting with a colleague, or hosting an event. More details about MEET + GREET will be released soon.

Meanwhile, the TRIBE KELLEY TRADING POST will serve as the long-awaited home base of Brittney Kelley’s (BK’s wife) Tribe Kelley clothing brand. Founded in 2014, from the couple’s love of designing and modifying their own clothes, the brand has now expanded into an eclectic fashion line, which mixes timeless with trendy.

Likewise, TREE VIBEZ MUSIC is an emerging publishing company created by Kelley and Hubbard in 2015. TVM isn’t limited to any specific type of genre, and at its heart is a hunger to stay creative, work hard and bring the good vibes. It’s home to a trailblazing group of hit songwriters which includes Corey Crowder, James McNair, Cameron Montgomery, RaeLynn, Daniel Ross, and Jordan Schmidt.

This news is just the latest in a string of big moves for the MULTI-PLATINUM duo. In 2016, Kelley and Hubbard launched their own brand of easy-drinking spirit – Old Camp Peach Pecan Whiskey – and in June of 2017, they opened their first restaurant and entertainment venue, a four-story destination in downtown Nashville called FGL HOUSE.

FGL is currently in the studio working on their fourth BMLG Records album, and just released “Meant to Be” – their collaboration with pop star Bebe Rexha – to Country radio in response to overwhelming fan demand.
