Elle King is a brave, confident and unapologetic artist who is honest about her life and uses it for her art. My fellow Pistol Annies are not only some of my best friends and writing partners, but also make me want to be a better artist every time we take the stage together. Tenille, Ashley and Caylee are all women who have something to say and they do it their own way. They are the next generation of fearless female artists and I’m so thrilled to share a stage with them.”

Lambert has long been hailed for her live performances, earning multiple ACM and CMA nominations for Entertainer of the Year. Rolling Stone praised her balance of “star power with humanity” at last year’s Los Angeles stop, noting that “she moved as if an electric current ran through her veins, propelling her around the stage [as one of the] few who can pull off a balance of flinty fierceness and deep soul ache.” Pollstar spoke similarly of her most recent Indianapolis date, remarking that “her command of the stage and the momentum build of her songs suggest Lambert’s becoming a true heir apparent to the feisty side of Loretta Lynn.”

The most-awarded artist in ACM history, Lambert will take the stage this Sunday, April 7 to perform a medley of her hits as well as a special duet with George Strait on the CBS telecast, where she is a double nominee in the Female Artist of the Year and Music Event of the Year categories. She will also be performing at various fairs and festivals this summer in advance of the Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour 2019.

King Calaway To Open Stadium Show For Garth Brooks

Emerging Nashville-based band KING CALAWAY has been announced as the opening act for country legend Garth Brooks at his U.S. Bank Stadium show in Minneapolis, MN on May 3, 2019, marking the band’s first-ever stadium show performance.

Garth was the first to announce the news – watch the video HERE beginning 8:40.

“Garth is a country music icon and a huge inspiration to us. It is an honor to even be mentioned in the same sentence as him, let alone stand on the same stage,” King Calaway guitar & vocalist Caleb Miller said on behalf of the band. “This will be our first ever stadium show and we absolutely cannot contain our excitement!”

The band was also announced this morning as a performer at ACM Songs, Stories & Stars, taking place as part of the 7th Annual ACM Party for a Cause on Friday, April 5 at the Marquee Ballroom, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino leading up to the 54th Academy of Country Music Awards.

The news continues to solidify the six-piece band’s status as an act on the rise, building on the success of their debut single “World For Two” from their self-titled EP released in January, via BMG/BBR Music Group. “World For Two” was the most added song at country radio in its first week and continues to grow rapidly across streaming platforms. Additionally, King Calaway made their Grand Ole Opry debut on March 1 and was introduced by esteemed country artist Brad Paisley. The band has been named one of seven country acts to watch in 2019 by Billboard and a “2019 Artists To Watch” by Amazon music.

Scotty McCreery Releases New Single “In Between” To Country Radio

The growing momentum behind the career of Scotty McCreery continues as the chart-topping country artist releases his new single “In Between” to country radio. The song serves as the third single from his wildly-successful album Seasons Change, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Albums Chart and spawned number one hits “Five More Minutes” and “This is It,” the latter holding the No. 1 spot for two consecutive weeks. The album was produced by Frank Rogers, Aaron Eshuis and Derek Wells.

“For me, the theme of ‘In Between’ is all about balance,” says McCreery about the addictive new song. “Everyone’s not all one thing or all the other.  We all have many facets to our lives. It’s about knowing who you are and finding the balance that’s right for you.”

“In Between” is one of the top three most added songs at country radio this week. McCreery co-wrote the powerful song alongside Frank Rogers, Jessi Alexander and Jonathan Singleton over four years ago when he was still in the midst of just dating his now wife Gabi.

“I wrote it the very same week as we wrote ‘Five More Minutes,’” McCreery reveals. “I find it a bit funny because I wrote the lyric ‘I ain’t ready for a ring on my hand’ back then, and now when it’s my current single, I am a newly married man. But ‘In Between’ tells the story of where I was in my life at that moment, and I think that’s what makes it so personal to me.”

McCreery married his longtime love Gabi in June 2018, with their engagement and wedding ultimately inspiring his latest number one hit “This Is It.” In fact, footage from their wedding day was showcased in the song’s music video, which now has been viewed over 40 million times and recently landed in the number one spot on “CMT’s Hot 20 Countdown.”

Aaron Watson’s New 20 Track Album “Red Bandana” Slated For Release On June 21

Traditional torch-bearer Aaron Watson revealed the complete Red Bandana track list, as exclusively announced by American Songwriter. The reigning indie underdog’s (Rolling Stone) brand new project, co-produced with Jordan Lehning, is slated for a June 21 release.
