Written by Jaida Dreyer, Stephony Smith and Dave Thompson, “Knock Knock” is the latest single off the group’s self-titled EP, The Cains, which was released this past summer on July 21, 2015. The EP was produced and mixed by Daniel Agee. The five-track EP is available on iTunes, Amazon and other major digital retailers.

Madison Cain commented about the single saying, “’Knock Knock’ is the only song on the EP that we didn’t write, but as soon as we heard it, we knew we needed to record it. We heard it once and couldn’t stop singing it. We hope the song will have the same effect on our listeners.”

In addition to the new single, The Cains have recently added some impressive international performances to their list of accomplishments. Opening for Sasha McVeigh’s successful I Stand Alone U.K. Tour, The Cains have come back with scores of dedicated new fans anxious to hear more music. They won’t be disappointed when they get their hands on “Knock Knock.”

The two sisters and brother from Hartselle, Ala. have shared a lot over the years, but their passion for music is what has brought them together as The Cains, a Country band with unique harmonies and a variety of influences. Taylor, Madison and Logan Cain are not only singers and songwriters, but also multifaceted entertainers and musicians who play guitar, piano, bass, harmonica, mandolin, drums and more. Their original music features compelling, edgy lyrics that evoke emotion and is inspired by a vast combination of genres from Country, soul and pop to Americana, folk and contemporary Christian.

Thomas Rhett Enters 2016 With Multi-Week No.1 Hit “Die A Happy Man”

With his fifth consecutive chart-topper, Thomas Rhett begins the year with the first No. One Country single of 2016 as “Die A Happy Man” from his sophomore album TANGLED UP (The Valory Music Co.) dominates the Billboard Country Airplay chart for a third consecutive week. Additionally, the “standout track” (Rolling Stone) continues to hold for the second week at No. one on the Mediabase radio chart along with four consecutive weeks on Mediabase Canada Country and Billboard Canada Country Airplay charts.

“I’m at a loss for words – there really isn’t any better way to start off the new year than like this,” shares Thomas Rhett. “Everyone knows how personal and special this song is to me and my wife, so for it to be connecting the way it has with fans is all the more gratifying.”

“As Thomas Rett’s star continues to rise, his fifth consecutive number one single is already arguably his biggest and has become a ‘career record,’” adds Scott Borchetta, President/CEO of Big Machine Label Group. “He’ll likely never be able to play another show without performing ‘Die A Happy Man!’ Also, there’s already huge Song of The Year buzz around it. There’s not a bigger artist priority at BMLG – it’s all faders up – TR is next level.”

While “Die A Happy Man” also continues to make a mark on the iTunes all-genre Top 10 chart, it has maintained its position as the best-selling digital Country single for nine of the 15 weeks since its release.

After recently wrapping his first headlining run with the 2015 CMT ON TOUR, Thomas Rhett will continue to prove to critics “he’s on his way to superstardom” (Patriot Ledger), as he will serve as direct support on Jason Aldean’s WE WERE HERE 2016 TOUR kicking off next Thursday (1/14) in Moline, IL.

Dean Alexander Announces Engagement to Longtime Girlfriend

Following the release of his holiday song, “Wild Christmas,” rising country crooner, Dean Alexander, rang in the New Year by proposing to longtime girlfriend, Liz Bock. Alexander spontaneously popped the question while the couple was vacationing in Sonoma, Calif. The pair met by chance five years ago on a ferry ride in Australia.

Following the success of “Live A Little,” named one of “Tomorrow’s Hits” by Billboard, which was released through Elektra Nashville (Warner Music Group division), Alexander went on to co-write “If My Heart Can Handle It,” which was featured on ABC’s award winning series, “Nashville.”

Dubbed by Country Weekly as “One to Watch,” the singer songwriter says he is more motivated than ever to be authentic and make music he is proud of. The singer-songwriter has started working on a new project with an old friend, writer and producer, Danny Myrick (“She’s Country” by Jason Aldean). Myrick descirbes the project, “equal parts Sergio Leone spaghetti western, midnight Tarentino desert roadhouse, Dick Dale and Dwight Yoakam on steroids,” adding, “Dean Alexander has found a new sound. He calls it “Acid Western,” I call it badass.”

Alexander is continuing to work on new music and planning for an EP release in 2016.
