Zac Brown Band Announces 2016 “Black Out The Sun” Tour

Zac Brown Band will kick off their sixth headlining US concert tour on Thursday, May 19 at Hartford’s XFINITY Theatre. Inspired by a lyric from “Tomorrow Never Comes” on their latest album JEKYLL + HYDE, the 29-date tour includes shows at both stadiums and amphitheaters and sees the band returning to Alpine Valley Music Theatre, Citi Field and Fenway Park for two-night stints. Drake White & The Big Fire are direct support for Zac Brown Band.

The BLACK OUT THE SUN TOUR announcement comes on the heels of the three-time GRAMMY-winner’s largest North American tour to date. This included two history-making performances – a first ever sold-out, three-night run at Fenway Park, and the first-ever concert at Coors Field along with performances at Wrigley Field, Nationals Park, Citi Field, Comerica Park and Citizen’s Bank Park.

Watch a recap of the JEKYLL + HYDE TOUR here.

Released this past April, JEKYLL + HYDE (Southern Ground/John Varvatos Records/Big Machine Label Group/Republic Records) debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Top 200 chart, earning the GRAMMY Award-winning band its third consecutive #1, and is officially certified gold by the RIAA. Zac Brown Band also recently earned a 2016 ACM nomination for “Vocal Group of the Year.”

Prior to kicking off their 2016 tour, Zac Brown Band’s Southern Ground Music & Food Festival returns to Charleston, SC for its fifth year on Saturday and Sunday April 16 and 17. Kip Moore Gives An Unforgettable Night To Fans on His Wild Ones Tour

Kip Moore brought his Wild Ones Tour to the west coast this week, with a stop in Portland, OR. The highly anticipated sold-show served as the first country concert in the area for 2016, and definitely set the bar high.

Kip, along with special guests The Cadillac Three, provided fans with a entertaining evening, resulting in the audience living in the moment as if it were a weekend rather than a Wednesday. Bringing the heart of “The South” to the stage, The Cadillac Three kicked the evening off with their dynamic set that set the tone for the night ahead.

When the lights went down, hands immediately went in the air welcoming Kip Moore to the Roseland Theater. Opening with album titled single, “Wild Ones,” Moore instantly made a connection with his audience. Showcasing his new album throughout the night, Kip brought Wild Ones to life with the delivery of each song. Adding diversity to his set, fans enjoyed several favorites from Kip’s debut album, Up All Night, as well as a few cover songs that included Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle” and classic songs “Lean On Me” and “Stand By Me.” Kip also treated fans to a brand new, unreleased song, “My Baby’s Gone,” and alluded to the fact that he would be releasing new music this year!

“Somethin’ ‘Bout A Truck” serves as Kip’s first #1 single and is always a fan favorite. In the past, Moore typically held this song to close out his shows. However, Kip has come to a point where he doesn’t need to hang on to that song until the end and has added it to the middle of his set. In fact, his set was closed out with mid-tempo song “That Was Us,” a song that almost didn’t make it on the record, and definitely made a lasting impression. Magic filled the room and the stage throughout the entire evening with many good times & memories made concluding in an unforgettable night.

Dierks Bentley Lands “Somewhere On A Beach” with New Music Video

Multi-PLATINUM entertainer and ACM nominee Dierks Bentley builds momentum for “Somewhere On A Beach” with the release of the wildly funny new music video today (2/26) on VEVO. The lead single from his forthcoming eighth studio album BLACK (Capitol Records Nashville) is the fastest rising of his career cruising into the Top 20 in just four weeks.

Bentley once again teamed with director Wes Edwards, this time on the streets and beaches of Puerto Morelos, Mexico, as a familiar character gets caught up in a whirlwind romance on a vacation gone wild. The duo has previously won both the ACM and CMA “Video Of The Year” Awards together.

“It took three days to shoot this video…we got so much great stuff all over this tiny little Mexican village outside of Cancun. It kills me to think about all the funny moments that we couldn’t fit into this edit,” shares Bentley. “Our lead character Josh is an old friend that some fans may recognize. He had us doubled over laughing on the set the whole time….really funny dude and incredible actor. I hope everyone digs our take on this story, which may be a little unexpected.”

Break has the exclusive behind-the scenes video from the making of making “Somewhere On A Beach” here.

Granger Smith’s Alter-Ego, Earl Dibbles Jr., Salutes Merica with New Video Release

Earl Dibbles Jr., the comedic brainchild of country music hitmaker, Granger Smith, releases today his highly anticipated music video for his fourth and most raucous song to-date, “Merica.” “Merica” is featured on Granger’s upcoming album, Remington, which releases March 4 via Wheelhouse Records.

Pre-order is available via iTunes and fans that purchase now will receive the following instant grats: the No. 1 hit song “Backroad Song,” “If The Boot Fits,” “Tonight” and “Merica.”

Watch the music video for “Merica” on YouTube.

“Earl Dibbles Jr. had been missing a song about ‘Merica’ on his previous three tracks,” says Granger. “One of my goals in writing this one was to try and capture who Earl is for those who might not know anything about him. From the first line you can picture who Earl is, “I got my one strap snapped on my Liberty bibs, wad of Levi Garrett packed between my lip and my gum… Merica.” Earl Dibbles Jr. allows me to work way outside the typical parameters of country music and this song adds another tangible layer to who Earl is.”

As reiterated in the song’s chorus, Earl Dibbles Jr. is a proud and very vocal American who regularly comments about the greatness of the USA:

CHORUS
We’re back to back undefeated World War Champs
So take a cup, raise it up for my Uncle Sam
You know we sent a man to the moon and before we’re done
Yah we’ll probably send a man to the sun
Merica
