New Kids On The Block Had The “Right Stuff” On Stage With Them During Nashville Concert

New Kids On The Block are still hangin’ tough, and they proved that last night on stage in concert during their Total Package Tour. Music City channeled their inner ’90s self and enjoyed a “total package” show that included NKOTB, Boyz II Men and Paula Abdul.

In attendance enjoying the boy band, and reliving some epic moments, was Carrie Underwood, and also taking in the scene was country duo Big & Rich. Both country superstars joined NKOTB on stage to perform during their show. Big & Rich performed their iconic hit “Save A Horse” with the band, and Underwood sang “Happy Birthday” to both Danny Wood and Jordan Knight. Additionally, Carrie reunited with former American Idol judge Paul Abdul while backstage. It was not only a fun-filled night for the fans, but also for the country superstars!

Well, look who I ran into backstage at #TheTotalPackage Tour! So cool to watch her do her thing!

Craig Campbell and Parmalee To Be Featured on Outdoor Channel’s Debut Episode of “Outside Tracks”

Outdoor Channel, a division of Outdoor Sportsman Group Networks (OSG) – the largest media company devoted to bringing the best in content and entertainment to outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts – announced today a special, Outside Tracks, to premiere on Monday, May 22 at 9 p.m. ET. Outside Tracks takes viewers behind-the-scenes in the studio and in the woods with country artists on the rise whose faith, family, passion for music and the outdoors has fueled their success.

“Outside Tracks takes an interesting look at some soon to become familiar faces in the world of country music and introduces them in a different light,” said Outdoor Sportsman Group Vice President of Programming, Mitch Petrie. “We hope viewers will find this behind-the-scenes look at country music as interesting as we do.”

The debut episode will take rising country stars, Craig Campbell and Parmalee, to a secluded cabin outside Nashville, Tennessee, where they perform their hit singles and provide viewers with an unfiltered look into how they made it from small towns to stardom the right way.

“We developed Outside Tracks to showcase some of the most compelling emerging acts in music today,” explained Emerging Artist Network CEO, Brian Grossman. “Both Parmalee and Craig Campbell are rising stars in country music with amazing back stories who share Outdoor Channel viewers’ tremendous passion for the outdoors.”

Craig Campbell, who will perform his hit single “Outskirts of Heaven” in the episode, grew up in the small town of Lyons, Georgia, working as a corrections officer while playing music on the side. Eventually making it to Nashville’s Music Row, Campbell’s music tells his life’s story with an authenticity that captures the perfect sweet spot between tradition and modernity. In addition to being a family man and one of country music’s brightest rising stars, Campbell is an avid bow hunter, who spends as much time as possible in the outdoors.

“On Outside Tracks, I had the opportunity to share two of my biggest passions, country music and my love of the outdoors,” said Campbell. “It was great to be able to tell my story and perform an acoustic version of ‘Outskirts of Heaven’ looking out onto such beautiful scenery. I think my fans will enjoy it.”

In addition, Outside Tracks will feature 2016 Academy of Country Music (ACM) “New Vocal Duo/ Group of the Year” nominee Parmalee, as they perform their hit single, “Roots.” One of country music’s most successful new acts, the Platinum-selling band of brothers is one of only three groups since 2001 to earn three consecutive Top 10 singles from a debut country album.  Comprised of brothers Matt and Scott Thomas (lead vocals/guitar and drums, respectively), cousin Barry Knox (bass) and lifelong best friend Josh McSwain (guitar), Parmalee has supported Brad Paisley and Jake Owen on national tours, performed on several national television shows, and can often be found at remote fishing holes around the country between performances. Parmalee’s highly-anticipated sophomore album includes “Roots” and new single “Sunday Morning” and will be released on Stoney Creek Records/BBR Music Group this summer.

“As musicians and outdoorsmen, we are so excited that Outside Tracks is telling our story,” said Matt Thomas, lead singer of Parmalee.  “We often watch the Outdoor Channel on our tour bus so this is a real thrill for us.”

A pre-premiere Facebook Live for Outside Tracks will be held on the Outdoorchannel Facebook page on Monday, May 22, at 8:30 p.m. ET. A chance to win concert tickets and meet and greet passes with Parmalee and Craig Campbell will be offered.

Check local listing or visit www.OutdoorChannel.com/ChannelFinder to find Outdoor Channel in your area.

Morgan Evans Signs Record Deal with Warner Music Nashville

Warner Music Nashville is thrilled to announce the recent signing of singer, songwriter and musician Morgan Evans. Hailing from Newcastle, Australia, a steel and coal town on the east coast, Evans recalls an early interest in music when he started playing guitar at the age of 13. He spent his teenage years seeing the country through the windshield of an old van as he toured in a band with his brother.

Raised listening to artists like Garth Brooks, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Creedence Clearwater Revival and Led Zeppelin, it was at the age of 17 when a Keith Urban concert changed his life. From that point on, he knew music was exactly what he wanted to spend his life creating. Signed to Warner Music Australia since 2012, he now continues his relationship with the Warner Music family in Nashville. To celebrate, Evans put together a one of a kind loop-pedal mashup honoring some of his new WMN label mates. Watch below or click here.

Evans is set to play the historic Grand Ole Opry stage this Friday, May 19, followed by a performance the following evening at Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Café. Managed by Fitzgerald Hartley out of Nashville and Rob Potts Entertainment Edge out of Australia, he is currently in the studio working on new music with songwriter/producer Chris DeStefano.
