Country Artists Join Forces for All-Star “Country Rising” Benefit Concert

Country Music’s biggest stars have rallied to announce plans for COUNTRY RISING, a benefit concert to support those in Texas, Florida, Puerto Rico and additional Caribbean islands who have been impacted by the recent hurricanes.

The star-studded lineup at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Nov. 12 will include performances by Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Sam Hunt, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Chris Stapleton, George Strait and Carrie Underwood. Tickets and VIP packages for the event go on sale next Friday, Oct. 6 at 10:00A CT on Ticketmaster.com. Additional artists and more details will be announced over the coming weeks at CountryRising.org.

The Nashville music community has also stepped on board, with AEG and Live Nation teaming up as the official show promoters working alongside organizer Red Light Management, Bridgestone Arena and the Nashville Predators. COUNTRY RISING will benefit The Country Rising Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, which was established to support charitable initiatives to help victims of the September 2017 hurricanes — Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, Jose and Maria. In the course of rebuilding lives disrupted by these devastating storms, there are immediate needs and there also will be long-term needs. This fund will strategically support both as they emerge.

Chris Lane Releases New Single “Take Back Home Girl” featuring Tori Kelly

Lady Antebellum Highlights The Caribbean In “Heart Break” Music Video, Helps Hurricane Relief Efforts for Puerto Rico

Before natural disasters struck the Caribbean, current two-time CMA nominated group Lady Antebellum traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico for its colorful Spanish colonial buildings and vibrant culture to provide the backdrop of the music video for their new single “Heart Break.”

Now, feeling the urgency more every day to continue to raise awareness and support for those affected after Hurricane Maria stuck the area, Lady A is premiering the new video across all video platforms while making a donation of $200,000 from LadyAID to hurricane relief efforts via MusiCares® and United for Puerto Rico. Fans can also take part in the ongoing relief efforts by contributing at LadyAID.org.

“We got to meet so many locals and enjoy just everything that Puerto Rico has to offer and so to see all the devastation we are just completely heart broken,” said Hillary Scott. “We want to do everything we can to support this incredible place and these incredible people. We just hope and pray for their safety and that rebuilding happens quickly. We encourage everyone to give whatever they can to help.”

“We have always loved traveling to the Caribbean, and Puerto Rico was one of those places we’ve always wanted to go and couldn’t have been a better location for this video,” added Charles Kelley. “I think one of the coolest things was all of the dancing extras were just people off the street that our director found. They already just exuded that vibrant energy that’s such a part of the people and culture in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean as a whole.”
