Parmalee To Release “Party Pack” Six Pack April 20

Stoney Creek Records announces platinum-selling Parmalee’s scorching new single “Hotdamalama” along with the band’s brand new Party Pack, a summer-ready sixer of songs launching digitally on April 20.

The Party Pack is a compilation of Parmalee’s six most rebel-rousing songs, packaged as a surefire party starter. The first track cracked out of the pack is “Hotdamalama,” which is set to impact Country radio on Monday, April 23. From there, the party takes off with a mix of some familiar tunes, like the band’s “Musta Had a Good Time” along with two new tracks that showcase the band’s signature Country-rock sound. Each song in the pack was co-written by lead singer, Matt Thomas and fully reflects the quartet’s rambunctious spirit.

“We love bringing people together for a good time and we hope they’ll smile, sing along, and raise one up,” said Matt Thomas of Parmalee. “That’s what this Party Pack is all about.”

  2. “Day Drinkin’” (Matt Thomas, Blair Daly)

Ashley McBryde’s Debut Album ‘Girl Going Nowhere’ Serves As The Biggest Debut By A Solo Country Artist This Year

Ashley McBryde has built an unconventional career since a teacher back home in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas suggested the singer/songwriter not get her hopes up about a career in music. Criss-crossing the South, playing any gig, room or biker bar she could find, the raven haired young woman built a foundation fan-by-fan, gig-by-gig over a number of years on her way to a deal with Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville.

Today, the artist who was told she’d amount to nothing sees Girl Going Nowhere as the biggest debut by a solo country artist this year. Championed by SiriusXM’s The Highway, McBryde’s “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega” found traction; anywhere people heard the voice that’s equal parts real life, unabashed hope and savoring the good parts, they responded, coming to shows, buying music and singing along.

“It feels incredible to have this album out in the world,” says McBryde who collaborated with producer Jay Joyce on the 11-song album. “It may not seem like it, but I’ve always been a shy person, so to hear stories of how other folks relate to these stories, these lyrics and our songs reaffirms this unconventional path we took creating and releasing it.”

McBryde is the latest in a new breed of country music maverick. Rather than wait on country radio, she makes her music, goes out to her fans and connects from the soul and the heart. With her single “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega” sitting just outside the Top 30, Girl achieves unprecedented chart position on the strength of her fans seeing themselves in her songs. Whether it’s the second chance of “Little Dive Bar,” the dug-in dreamer of the title track, the hell-bent for love “American Scandal” or the tender “The Jacket,” McBryde’s country is cut from her life – and the lives of many people just like her.

With The New York Times proclaiming, “Varied, warm and effortlessly confident,” Rolling Stone opining, “She has a serious gift” and Variety declaring, “An unabashed, Southern-rooted, honest-to-Gawd great country record,” McBryde has touched a nerve amongst music lovers. As Billboard points out, “Unlike Nashville’s current crop,” McBryde’s earthy tenor as a singer and a writer has been described by The Washington Post as “Vivid,” Uproxx as “Prodigiously talented” and Entertainment Weekly as  “…cutting through the cookie-cutter clutter of contemporary pop-country, thanks to her gifts at combining classic storytelling specificity.”

In a world/genre where strong women’s voices are hard to find, McBryde stands out, NPR recognized the potency of her work early. Featuring album cut “Radioland” on All Songs Considered, they wrote, “The cheap comparison would be female Chris Stapleton, but Ashley is her own woman. She really does however, combine the energy of rock, the earnestness and simple beauties of prime-era Springsteen or John Mellencamp; her songs are about family, working people, about living your best life when your best life is maybe on the outskirts of town in a ranch house with a manual lawnmower.”

Lindsay Ell Reveals “Criminal” Music Video

Following a spectacular performance at AOL BUILD and multiple appearances around New York City last week, including a sit down with CBS New York and a live showcase at Billboard, Country music star LINDSAY ELL world premiered the music video for current single “Criminal” exclusively on Entertainment Tonight this past weekend (4/7). Watch the video available everywhere now HERE

Additionally this week, “Criminal” has earned the top spot at both Mediabase and BDS Canadian Country radio. This success makes her the first Canadian female artist to hit No. 1 on the Canadian Country airplay charts since 2008, a historic moment and celebration that has been years in the making. The single was the Most Added song at U.S. Country Radio on its impact date and continues to rise on the charts, fast-approaching Top 20 at on both Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay (No. 21 on both charts).

“I am humbled and grateful to be the first female artist to have a #1 since 2008 on the Canadian Country radio charts,” commented Ell. “Sometimes you work so hard for the things you want, they feel surreal when they happen. Thank you Country radio for believing in me and making this possible. Thank you to each and every fan for never giving up on me. I will try my best to continue to make you proud.”

Hailed “Top Country Artist to Watch” by Huffington Post, LINDSAY ELL is a true triple threat; a multi-instrumentalist as well as a unique vocalist and songwriter. Lindsay played lead guitar on her August 2017 album, The Project, which debuted at No.1 on the Country Album Sales Charts.  Lauded the ‘Best Country Album of 2017’ by Billboard, The Project is produced by GRAMMY-winner Kristian Bush, of Sugarland.  Currently, Lindsay is trading guitar licks with Brad Paisley on his Weekend Warrior World Tour through April,  This Summer, she will hit the road on Sugarland’s Still The Same Tour.  Lindsay will also join select dates of superstar Keith Urban’s Graffiti U World Tour this Fall.

Dierks Bentley and Live Nation Launch Inaugural Seven Peaks 3-Day Music Festival

Multi-PLATINUM entertainer Dierks Bentley and the world’s leading live entertainment company Live Nation announced the inaugural SEVEN PEAKS MUSIC FESTIVAL.  Destined to be the most fresh and eclectic country festival this summer, Seven Peaks Music Festival will converge over three days with multiple stages and a campground set in front of the awe-inspiring collegiate peaks mountain range in Buena Vista, CO this Labor Day Weekend (Aug 31-Sept. 2).

Bentley, who will take the stage several times over the course of the weekend, has invited friends and collaborators Miranda Lambert, Brothers Osborne, Elle King, LANCO, Del McCoury, Sam Bush and The Cadillac Three as the first announced artists to play, with more to be revealed in the coming weeks. Three-day passes for the one-of-a-kind experience will go on-sale beginning April 20 at 10am MST on sevenpeaksfestival.com

Like his upcoming studio album THE MOUNTAIN, Seven Peaks Music Festival was inspired from Bentley’s love of The West. An eclectic and comradery-filled lineup that offers a who’s-who of first-class musicians, fans can expect the unexpected with late-night jams and surprise guests, as well as activity-filled excursions during the day. The natural beauty of the site’s sprawling grounds provides the perfect homegrown vibe for a Labor Day weekend camp out under the stars, where festival-goers will have multiple camping options from tents to full-sized RV accommodations. More details are available here.

“This is a dream come true for me. It’s no secret that I love everything about Colorado…the fans, the venues we’ve played and of course, the landscape,” Dierks Bentley said.  “We are bringing it all together with this festival. It’s our own ‘field of dreams,’ where we are putting everything we have into it, with no details overlooked, in hopes it is the ultimate festival experience. I personally will be right in there with our fans listening to best musicians, taking advantage of the unlimited outdoor opportunities including hiking, biking and playing in the river and lake…or maybe just sitting with a cold one all day in the Colorado sunshine and under the Rocky Mountain stars.”

“Seven Peaks Music Festival is something Dierks and I, along with our teams have been cooking up for a while,” said Brian O’Connell, President of Country Touring at Live Nation. “We wanted to continue to make everything about this project unique in the festival landscape, from the lineup to the setting to what fans will be able to do onsite. As soon as we stepped on the grounds in Buena Vista, we were just blown away, it feels other-worldly out there and I can’t wait for more people to get to experience that. The site is absolutely breathtaking, and we feel that we will only add to Colorado’s rich history of unreal music settings. A true country music and camping festival, developed in collaboration with Dierks, one of the most respected artists in our community, is far and away the most innovative festival projects ever taken on, and I am honored to be involved in this project!”

Thomas Rhett Releases Most Personal Single To Date “Life Changes”

Reigning ACM Male Vocalist of the Year Thomas Rhett has announced his autobiographical anthem “Life Changes,” the title-track from his Billboard 200 chart-topping album (The Valory Music Co.), as his next single. “One of his most personal to date” (Rolling Stone), the song co-written by Thomas Rhett ships to Country radio today, following all three of LIFE CHANGES’ singles – PLATINUM-certified “Craving You” and “Marry Me” as well as GOLD-certified “Unforgettable” – which all earned chart-topping success.

“This song is basically my autobiography in three minutes,” Thomas Rhett said. “It covers my college years, marrying Lauren, becoming a dad and the evolution of my music career. It’s definitely the most personal song I’ve ever written, but we all go through a lot in life whatever the story is, so I think the sentiment is something a lot of people can relate to.”

Over the weekend, Thomas Rhett launched his highly-anticipated LIFE CHANGES TOUR, bringing his “commanding stage presence” (Rolling Stone) to sold-out crowds in Tulsa, OK and Las Cruces, NM. “The reigning wielder of Midas’ touch” (Tulsa World), he is bringing his biggest hits and songs from his GRAMMY-nominated third studio album to life with reimagined versions for his electric live show. First dates include ACM’s New Male Vocalist of the Year Brett Young as well as a combination of Country Music’s freshest talent including Russell Dickerson, Jillian Jacqueline and Carly Pearce.
