Little Big Town Announce Nightfall Studio Album and Tour

Grammy Award-winning vocal group Little Big Town announced the release of their ninth studio album Nightfall, and accompanying headline tour, The Nightfall Tour. The foursomes’ new album will drop January 17, 2020 succeeding a once-in-a-lifetime performance at the historic Carnegie Hall in New York City on January 16, 2020. This is the first mainstream country performance featured at Carnegie Hall since Alan Jackson in 2013.

The tour will continue the following two nights at The Apollo and will proceed all spring in over 30 of the most prestigious theaters in the country, closing with two nights at Denver’s art deco gem, The Paramount. Every show excluding Carnegie Hall will feature critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Caitlyn Smith.

Pre-sales for the tour are available now and will continue through Thursday night. American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets in select markets before the general public beginning Wednesday, September 11 at 10am local time through Thursday, September 12 at 10pm local time. Tickets go on sale everywhere Friday, September 13^th at 10am local time. Carnegie Hall will follow an hour later at 11am EST.

Little Big Town also released new song, “Over Drinking” to all DSP’s last night. The single, written by Jesse Frasure, Cary Barlowe, Hillary Lindsey, Ashley Gorley, and Steph Jones is the first official single off of Nightfall and features Fairchild on lead with the band’s signature vocal harmonies woven throughout. Jason Aldean To Release Ninth Studio Album, Aptly Titled “9”

After almost 15 years at the top of his format, reigning ACM “Artist of the Decade” Jason Aldean has seen trends come and go. He’s helped bring a few out of the shadows, like a Country-music Columbus making the mainstream’s first contact with hard rock (“Hicktown”), hip-hop (“Dirt Road Anthem”) and R&B (“Burnin’ It Down”). But after all that time, he continues to hold his ground making modern albums with an old-school soul – announcing today that his next effort 9 (Broken Bow Records) will be released Nov. 22. “Early on I always thought if we ever got to make nine albums, I’m going to call it ‘9.’ It was my baseball number growing up, and it’s just kind of always been my lucky number,” explains Aldean. “I remember cutting the first album and thinking ‘that’s forever away,’ and now here we are. I don’t know, it’s really special we made it this far – so, it’s more for me than anybody else – but, it means a lot.”

To celebrate, Aldean offers fans an immediate preview of the new album today with the release of four of its tracks. “Blame It On You” sways with a half-drunk realization that we make our own problems, “I Don’t Drink Anymore” serves a 100-proof hook, “Keep It Small Town” reminds that well-lived lives don’t have to be complicated and the album’s fiery lead single “We Back” rounds out the first-released songs, all out now at all digital partners, with “We Back” also available at radio. Trisha Yearwood Set to Host 10th Annual CMA Country Christmas

Country superstar Trisha Yearwood will host the 10th annual “CMA Country Christmas,” the two-hour music celebration that airs on ABC during the holiday season. In addition to her hosting duties, Yearwood will also perform on the Christmas special, taking the stage for a night filled with Christmas classics and festive one-of-a-kind collaborations.

Joining Yearwood for “CMA Country Christmas” are Kristin Chenoweth, for KING & COUNTRY, Chris Janson, Tori Kelly, Lady Antebellum, Rascal Flatts, Runaway June, CeCe Winans, Brett Young and Chris Young.

Ashley McBryde Unveils New Single “One Night Standards” From Forthcoming Sophomore Album

Ashley McBryde was sitting in a dimly lit writer’s room of her management office in East Nashville earlier this year with Girl Going Nowhere’s “Livin’ Next to Leroy” and “A Little Dive Bar in Dahlonega” co-writer Nicolette Hayford, and the seasoned songwriter kept coming back to, “It ain’t somethin’, I wanna spend a lot of time in… I ain’t gonna stay for the weekend…” before noting, “there’s something in that notion that not everything has to last forever.” After a whirlwind two years, the ACM Award winner and CMA, GRAMMY and Emmy-nominated Arkansas native knew they’d landed on something special.

“We had to walk away from it to give it a second to breathe,” she now reflects. “When we got back in a room, this time Shane [McAnally] was with us and I joked, ‘You know, hotel rooms…they only have one night stand for a reason. They’re one night stand-ers.’ Shane and Nic’s eyes lit up, ‘Did you just say one night standards?’”

“One Night Standards,” the first taste of what’s to come from her highly-anticipated sophomore album for Warner Music Nashville, is available now and sees McBryde again collaborating with producer Jay Joyce. Same as Nowhere, McBryde enlisted the folks that play over 100 shows with her a year, her band, to perform on the track: Quinn Hill on drums, Chris Sancho on bass, Matt Helmkamp on electric guitar (along with McBryde and Joyce), Chris Harris on background vocals and acoustic guitar (Joyce also plays on acoustic and keys).

Lauded by The New York Times as “an alluringly flexible singer, fluent in classic country, blues and Southern rock, with a voice that moves easily from tender to tough,” McBryde caught the attention of some of Nashville’s most raucous entertainers, landing her dates opening for Eric Church, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Little Big Town and George Strait. The multi-Platinum entertainer joins an elite team of ESPN analysts to evaluate college student sections week after week, culminating with one lucky school taking home the top honor of Live Más Student Section of the Year.
