“Get Up and Go” Check Out The Sisterhood Band’s New Music Video

Arista Nashville’s The Sisterhood Band has released their “Get Up And Go” music video. Co-producers and co-writers of the track, The Sisterhood Band’s Alyssa Bonagura and Ruby Stewart wrote the treatment for the video. Co-directed by Jessica Amerson and Dallas Wilson, the music video can be viewed HERE.

The clip’s vividly colorful images and lyric-specific scenes were captured while the duo and country power-station KKGO “Go Country 105” partnered on a multiple-week promotion campaign in support of “Get Up And Go” in Los Angeles, including KKGO listener events at the Porsche Experience Center Los Angeles and La Peer Kimpton Hotel, on-air interviews and social takeovers as well as a television appearance on KTLA’s Morning News.

“We brought in two of our best friends, Dallas Wilson and Jessica Amerson, to help make this video with us,” remarked duo member Alyssa Bonagura. “We wanted people to get a real feel for who we are and what it would be like to take a road trip with us,” she added with a chuckle. “The clothes, the locations, the dancing, and the shenanigans is 100% exactly how we are in real life and hope our fans have as much fun watching it as we did making it!”

The Sisterhood Band’s Ruby Stewart responded, “This video means a lot to me – being a California native! We chose some our favorite locations along California’s Golden Coast, because that’s what inspired the song. We wanted our first music video to feel truly like US, so we styled and glammed it ourselves.” Stewart enthused, “Also, collaborating with people you love, like Jessica and Dallas, makes it easy to be yourself. We had absolutely brilliant time shooting this music video. I hope this stirs some restless feeling in your bones and you get up and go. The world is out there waiting for you, all you need is a ‘69 Cadillac with mounted longhorns!”

Luke Combs Announces Details On New Album and New Tour

Luke Combs’ highly anticipated new album What You See Is What You Get—out November 8 via River House Artists/Columbia Nashville—is now available for pre-order. Each pre-order includes an instant download of the new track, “1, 2 Many ” featuring Brooks & Dunn, as well as the five tracks previously released as part Combs’ The Prequel EP. The album’s cover art, which is a photo that was taken by David Bergman and then painted by Nashville-based artist Rob Hendon, is also unveiled.

The new album adds to an already monumental year for Combs, who is nominated for three awards at the 2019 CMA Awards: Male Vocalist of the Year, Song of the Year (“Beautiful Crazy”) and Musical Event of the Year (“Brand New Man” with Brooks & Dunn). The awards ceremony will be broadcast live on ABC from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, November 13 at 8:00PM ET/7:00PM CT.

Produced by Scott Moffatt, What You See Is What You Get features 17 songs including the five tracks previously released via Combs’ The Prequel EP earlier this summer. The EP debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart with all five tracks charting on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs Top 25—a feat not accomplished by any artist in 60 years since Johnny Cash in 1959. The release also propelled Combs to the largest streaming week ever for a country artist with 73 million on-demand streams (week ending June 13). Additionally, The Prequel’s lead single, “Beer Never Broke My Heart,” recently reached No. 1 on bothBillboard ‘s Country Airplay and Mediabase/Country Aircheck charts. This is Combs’ sixth consecutive No. 1—a first on the Billboard Country Airplay chart—and his fastest rising single to date (13 weeks).

Moreover, Combs’ new single “Even Though I’m Leaving” was recently shipped to country radio and continues to receive widespread critical acclaim.

Additionally, Luke Combs will kick off his What You See Is What You Get Tour next year with newly confirmed stops at Lexington’s Rupp Arena, Grand Rapids’ Van Andel Arena, Albuquerque’s Isleta Amphitheater, Colorado Spring’s Broadmoor World Arena and Houston’s Toyota Center among many others.

Lady Antebellum Reveals New Studio Album – OCEAN – Set To Release on November 15

After a wave of change, Dave Haywood, Charles Kelley and Hillary Scott have watched the tides rise and fall and are embracing the power of vulnerability with the release of Lady A‘s forthcoming album OCEAN, set for release November 15 on BMLG Records. It marks a new beginning that brings the Multi-PLATINUM trio back to their roots, showcasing their familiar vocal interplay and individual instruments on the emotionally resonant 13-track project.

Lady A chronicles personal relationships and everyday responsibilities with a balance of growth and maturity that could only come from 13 years of working together. The CMA-nominated trio’s upcoming release is available now for pre-order at all digital retailers. Fans will also immediately receive a download of the title-track along with previously released songs “Pictures” and their Top 15-and -climbing single “What If I Never Get Over You.”

“There’s this theme of returning to the core of who we are—as writers, vocalists and people—that came out in each of these songs,” Dave Haywood explains. “Our time in the studio with Dann had an excitement that felt like we were making our first album all over again.”

Produced by first-time collaborator Dann Huff, OCEAN is full of depth and despair, with its title-track Scott’s bare vocal puts a bow on the album’s core reminding us of life’s beauty even when we get caught in its undertow. With moments like “Be Patient with My Love,” which Kelley co-wrote as a beautiful ode to commitment, they balance raw feelings with squealing guitars.

“It’s such a cinematic and theatrical melody that really tied together our standpoint of this record as a whole,” adds Scott. “OCEAN stands for all of the things that we think and feel when we hear the word. Its parallel with those feelings much like the songs about barely keeping your head above water and others that make you feel like everything is smooth sailing.”

Fans can now watch a stunning performance of the album’s title-track for OCEAN here.

The album allows Lady A to let loose too. “You Can Do You” is a swaying live-and-let-live anthem inspired by the hustle of Nashville’s crowded streets, while “Boots” combines heartland-rock crunch with Celtic fiddles. On the swirling “The Thing That Wrecks You,” the trio gets an assist from fellow Country music superstars Little Big Town, who supply background vocals; its dreamy coda features the two groups’ vocals intermingling, weaving in and out of one another and occasionally hovering over the gauzy guitars.
