Brett Eldredge Returns With Annual “Glow Live” Holiday Tour

Following the release of his 2016 album Glow and its deluxe edition last year, country music star Brett Eldredge has become synonymous with Christmas. This season the powerhouse vocalist will return for his annual Glow LIVE holiday tour, which began with a single show and has grown into a 10-date sprawl hitting major cities all across the country.

In addition to stops in Louisville, Atlanta, Columbus and Boston, Eldredge will have double-header appearances in Nashville, New York and Chicago. See below for a full list of dates.

“Since I was a kid, I’ve had the Christmas music spirit running heavily through my veins,” Eldredge said. “It’s my favorite thing in the world. Now taking my own Christmas tour out on the road at this huge level is a dream. I can’t wait to see everyone dressed up, relaxed and ready to sing the Christmas classics with me!”

Tickets for the run will go on sale to the general public on Friday, October 25 at 10:00 a.m. local time and will be available to purchase on www.bretteldredge.com. Additionally, Chase Sapphire cardholders will have the opportunity to purchase limited VIP Experience packages by visiting chase.com/experiences.

The LIVE shows will feature seasonal selections from Glow as well as other holiday hits. Eldredge’s album earned widespread praise from critics upon its initial release, with Entertainment Weekly calling it “a brassy romantic collection with bold big-band arrangements” and People detailing his “rich, pliant voice.” Its acclaim culminated in his duet of “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” with GRAMMY-winner Meghan Trainor reaching No. 1 on both the Adult Contemporary and Holiday Music charts.

Audiences at the Glow LIVE shows will begin their evenings with a special appearance from comedian Barry Rothbart. Rothbart is known for his work as “Kevin” on ABC’s Downward Dog and can also be seen on Showtime’s Kidding. He has performed on a variety of television programs, including: The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Conan, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Adam Devine’s House Party, as well as his own Half Hour with Comedy Central. He has earned several honors at the Just For Laughs Montreal Comedy Festival, and on the big screen he can be seen in Martin Scorsese’s Wolf of Wallstreet and Demetri Martin’s Dean.

Eldredge, a Platinum-selling recording artist and songwriter, celebrated his seventh No. 1 country single earlier this year with “Love Someone.” He is currently working on his next project.

First Round of Performers Announced for the 53rd Annual CMA Awards

Eric Church, Luke Combs, Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Maren Morris, Dolly Parton with for KING & COUNTRY and Zach Williams, P!NK and Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban have been announced as the first group of performers for “The 53rd Annual CMA Awards,” hosted by Underwood with special guest hosts McEntire and Parton.

Country Music’s Biggest Night™ will air live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 8/7c on the ABC Television Network.

Nine-time CMA Awards winner Parton will welcome for KING & COUNTRY and Williams to the CMA Awards stage for the first time ever to perform an inspirational gospel medley of “God Only Knows,” “There Was Jesus,” and Parton’s not-yet-released new song “Faith.” In an epic collaboration, Stapleton, a three-time nominee this year, will join P!NK to perform their duet, “Love Me Anyway.”

With three nominations this year, Church will perform his hit “Some Of It” from his CMA Album of the Year nominated album Desperate Man. Combs, the reigning CMA New Artist of the Year and three-time nominee this year, will take the stage performing fan favorite “Beer Never Broke My Heart.” In addition to her guest host appearance, McEntire, a six-time CMA Awards winner, will perform her classic hit, “Fancy.” McEntire last performed the song at the CMA Awards in 2016 as part of a multi-artist medley, opening the 50th anniversary ceremony. Lambert, nominated for CMA Female Vocalist of the Year this year, will bring her rising new single “It All Comes Out In The Wash” to the CMA Awards stage, while Morris will perform her three-time nominated hit, “GIRL.” Morris is the top nominated artist this year with six total nominations. Host and reigning CMA Female Vocalist of the Year Underwood, also a three-time nominee this year, is set to perform “Drinking Alone” from her CMA Album of the Year nominated album Cry Pretty, and reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year and two-time nominee this year, Urban will perform his hit, “We Were.”

Hootie & the Blowfish Debut New Music At Country Radio

Hootie & the Blowfish earn most-added distinction at Country radio with their first new music in nearly 15 years. The band will perform new single “Hold On,” praised by Rolling Stone for its “uplifting” message and “funky, staccato guitar riff,” live on ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Friday, Nov. 1 to celebrate Imperfect Circle’s highly-anticipated release date.

Since bursting onto the scene with their Diamond-certified debut album Cracked Rear View, Hootie & the Blowfish have been difficult to box into a genre, demonstrating influences ranging from pop and rock to folk, soul and blues. With “Hold On,” penned by Country music stalwart Chris Stapleton together with Jim Beavers, the GRAMMY Award-winning band makes their debut at Country radio, where frontman Darius Rucker has found success throughout the past decade of his solo career.

Michael Ray Premieres “Her World Or Mine” Music Video Starring Chad Michael Murray

Michael Ray says the heartbreak expressed in “Her World or Mine,” poignantly brought to life in his latest video, “is the reason I got into country music.” The video premieres today exclusively with “Good Morning America” and ABC.com. Ray’s third single is the emotional centerpiece of his 11-song sophomore album Amos and starkly contrasts the carefree theme and upbeat sound of his last single and third No. 1 hit, “One That Got Away.”

“I wanted to tell the story of my parents’ divorce and that part of my life – the confusion and the fact that it wasn’t easy for a while. And losing my grandparents was a massive hit, not only to me, but my whole family,” explains Ray.

The new video features film and television star Chad Michael Murray in the role of Michael’s father. The two met at the CMT Awards four years ago and have been friends ever since.

“This song touched me. It’s my favorite, personally,” Murray said. “Watching the song play and seeing everybody react and seeing them go through their own honest memories is trippy. It’s really fun to watch.”

The video for “Her World Or Mine” is based on Ray’s experience as a child of divorce, with his entire family and himself as a child portrayed, as they navigate hard life changes and separation until the death of Ray’s grandmother brings them together.

“It’s so relatable and it deals with so many issues that everybody’s going through,” continued Murray. “You’re going to see so many people come up to you and say, ‘That’s my song.’ And it will be for different reasons because they went through different trials and tribulations to get them there. That’s what’s cool about it.”

Ray was raised in rural central Florida and was very close with his grandfather, who taught him how to play guitar.

“When my parents were going through their divorce is when my grandfather started teaching me guitar chords – it was my outlet. It was my way to get away from all the hell and chaos that was going on,” shares Ray.

However, this year has brought the singer new-found happiness with his love Carly Pearce. Earlier this month, Ray married the country star in Goodlettsville, Tenn. The pair’s nuptials were featured in PEOPLE Magazine with all the details of their big day.

Ray is currently on the road with his popular Nineteen Tour in the U.S. and England. He will join the Carolina Country Music Cruise 2019 to the Bahamas and is also set to appear with Old Dominion on their Make It Sweet Tour in Providence, R.I. on Nov. 8; Syracuse, N.Y. on Nov. 9 and Grand Prairie, Texas on Nov. 16.
