Country duo Trailer Choir, comprised of Butter Fortney and Big Vinny, recently released their brand new single, “Ice Cold Summer.” Just in time for the hot months ahead, Butter & Big Vinny serve up a fun summer anthem for fans to enjoy.

Written by Big Vinny, Butter, Brandon Ray Tant and Skidd Mills, the new track serves as a great re-introduction to the country duo. The Angry Birds Movie Soundtrack Features Lead Single by Blake Shelton

Atlantic Records has announced its release of “The Angry Birds Movie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)” due everywhere on Friday, May 6th. The Columbia Pictures and Rovio Entertainment 3D animated comedy The Angry Birds Movie arrives in theatres nationwide on Friday, May 20th.

“The Angry Birds Movie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)” is available now for pre-order, with all pre-orders accompanied by an instant grat download of the soundtrack’s lead single, “Friends, by Blake Shelton. The track – available now on the iTunes Store, Spotify and other DSPs – is accompanied by a brand new music video, streaming now at http://smarturl.it/BS-Friends-YT after its world premiere last night on Access Hollywood & PEOPLE.com

“The Angry Birds Movie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)” also includes such tracks as a brand new rendition of “I Will Survive” by global pop sensation Demi Lovato, international pop star Charli XCX’s “Explode,” Steve Aoki’s “Fight,” and “Wonderful Life (Mi Oh My),” from superstar Norwegian DJ Matoma (see attached tracklisting). “Wonderful Life (Mi Oh My)” will be available as an individual download and instant grat with all album pre-orders beginning Friday, April 22nd.  The album also features music from the cast of The Angry Birds Movie – Peter Dinklage and The Hatchlings.

Willie Nelson Temporarily Names SiriusXM Channel to “Merle’s Roadhouse”

Willie Nelson’s SiriusXM channel, Willie’s Roadhouse, will honor his friend, the legendary musician Merle Haggard, and temporarily be renamed “Merle’s Roadhouse” for a weekend of special tributes.

Following the death of Haggard on his 79th birthday, April 6, Willie’s Roadhouse programmed 12 continuous hours of non-stop Haggard music, taking calls from heartbroken listeners and country music artists.

Willie himself called in during his daughter Paula Nelson’s show, and said  “It’s not a happy day for any of us out there, and we all are with Merle’s family and friends and loved ones. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.”

The live tribute also featured a long list of artists, friends and fans sharing memories of Haggard, including Reba, Vince Gill, Bobby Bare, Bill Anderson, Jamey Johnson, Lorrie Morgan, Gene Watson, Moe Bandy, Johnny Bush, Jeannie Seely, Rhonda Vincent, actor W. Earl Brown and Randy Owen, Teddy Gentry & Jeff Cook of Alabama.

“Merle’s Roadhouse” weekend programming will also include an encore broadcast of the Django & Jimmie album special hosted by Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard, which was recorded when the album was released in 2015; a two-hour special dubbed “Feeling Haggard” hosted by Ray Benson of Asleep at the Wheel; and a one-hour 2003 conversation between Haggard and Country Music Hall of Fame member Bill Anderson from his “Bill Anderson Visits with the Legends” show.

SiriusXM’s Outlaw Country will broadcast special editions of Steve Earle’s weekly show, Hardcore Troubadour Radio, Shooter Jennings’ “Electric Rodeo” and Johnny Knoxville and Roger Alan Wade’s weekly show Big Ass Happy Family Jubilee paying tribute to Haggard.

“Merle’s Roadhouse” will launch Friday, April 8 at 6:00 pm ET and will air through Sunday night on SiriusXM channel 59 and through the SiriusXM app on smartphones and other connected devices, as well as online at siriusxm.com.

A Thousand Horses Release “Southernality” Music Video

History-making band A Thousand Horses are showcasing their Southern personalities on another level with the release of a music video for “Southernailty.” The title track, which recently hit Country radio, has been making an impact with fans during their live show.

Director Shaun Silva (TackleBox Films) filmed scenes from A Thousand Horses’ high-energy performances throughout their current stint opening on Jason Aldean’s WE WERE HERE TOUR. The end result also features the band in front of a green screen in Nashville.

“This was a really fun shoot since we got to film most of it in a concert setting,” said frontman Michael Hobby. “Our fans relate to the message of this song and we love getting to show our Southern personalities when we perform.”
