Dierks Bentley Announces 2017 What The Hell World Tour

Country superstar Dierks Bentley is beginning to become one with the road. He recently wrapped up the first leg of his summer 2016 Somewhere on a Beach Tour, and is set to embark on a second leg of the tour throughout the fall. His life on the road doesn’t stop there. Today, Dierks announced his 2017 What The Hell World Tour, and will feature rising country favorites Cole Swindell and Jon Pardi.

The What The Hell World Tour is set to launch on January 19 with 23 cities on the calendar so far. To kick-off the tour’s first weekend, Bentley will headline Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena for the very first time on January 21. Not wasting any time, exclusive pre-sale tickets for select tour dates go on sale tomorrow, October 4, for fans at dierks.com, and the public sale is scheduled for Friday, October 7 at dierks.com and livenation.com.

“Coming off the electricity and emotion of two nights at Red Rocks last week, it felt right to just go ahead and announce plans for next year and keep this thing rolling,” shared Bentley. “There’s a song on my album called ‘What The Hell Did I Say’ and it seemed like an appropriate title for a tour with Cole and Pardi. I have a feeling I’ll be asking myself that question the morning after many of our shows and late night hangs because you really don’t know what will happen when the three of us get together. There has been a lot of drunk calls and texts between all of us over the last year trying to make this tour happen, and I’m excited we were able to pull it off.”

People Country initially unveiled the exciting news for the 2017 tour. Check out the exclusive announcement here.

William Michael Morgan Scores First No.1 Single with “I Met A Girl”

William Michael Morgan just released his debut album, Vinyl, on Friday September 30. Following the excitement of the album release, Morgan also celebrates his very first No. 1 single with “I Met A Girl.” After 58 weeks at country radio, and 49 weeks on the Mediabase chart, the single made its way to the top and serves as the longest chart run to the top in Mediabase/Aircheck chart history.

“Wow. We did it! What a dream come true,” said Morgan. “After 58 weeks of clawing and fighting and believing and trusting in our radio promo team, my management Joe Carter and Mike Taliaferro, the entire Warner Music Nashville team, country radio, the fans, my producers Jimmy Ritchey and Scott Hendricks, my family and friends for undying and unwavering support, and most importantly the good Lord above…I am proud and most importantly honored to announce my gratitude and many thanks to everyone involved in this most special moment in my life, and in my career! Here’s to this No, 1 and hopefully many more to come. God bless all of you. And God bless country music!”

“I Met A Girl,” written by Sam Hunt, Trevor Rosen and Shane McAnally serves as a fantastic introduction to the country newcomer. His traditional roots are further delivered in his new music on Vinyl, and is a great welcome to the genre.

“This song truly paves the way for William Michael and the joyful traditional sound to get back on the airwaves,” says John Esposito, Chairman and CEO of Warner Music Nashville. “This historic run proves the tenacity of artist development, which is the cornerstone of how our label rolls!”

Vinyl is available at retail stores now, as well as digital music outlets. Be sure to grab a copy and add to your country music collection.

Chase Rice’s Passion for Music Runs Deep, But So Does Football

With football season now in full swing, country sensation Chase Rice is in his element. His passion runs deep as he gets into each moment of the game while watching the sport.

Prior to his career in music, Chase was a linebacker for the University of North Carolina and took the sport very seriously. “I could sit there, I watched a lot of film, I put a lot of time into the game” Rice shares. “I tried to know where the ball was going before anybody else did, and that’s why I became such a good player in college before I got hurt.”

Now when watching, Rice admits it’s hard to relax and enjoy the game. “I can’t just watch a football game and have fun” Chase says. “I’m sitting there calling the plays, calling the defenses while I’m watching the game, and yelling at the coaches ‘don’t do it, don’t call a timeout right there’ or whatever I’m yelling… but, I’m very passionate about football.”

While music is at the forefront for Chase Rice, if an opportunity came to make a choice between football and music, it would likely be for a difficult decision for the singer/songwriter to make. “The only thing rivals music for me is football” Chase confesses. “I gotta be honest, I don’t know…if I had the opportunity to go play in the NFL right now I don’t know if I’d turn that down. Then I could come back to music later, you know…that would be easy.”

Fortunately for all of us, Chase hasn’t traded in his guitar for a football helmet (yet), and is still going strong with his music. He is currently at country radio with his latest single, “Everybody We Know Does,” out on his headlining Everybody We Know Does Tour, and working on his next studio album.

Camille Rae Introduces New Single “But I Want You”

Country newcomer Camille Rae is back with newly released single, “But I Want You.” Initially impressing country fans with debut single “Shadows Dance Tonight,” Camille brings another solid song for listeners to enjoy.

“But I Want You,” written by Jaida Dreyer, Fred Wilhelm, and Jay Knowles is an upbeat track about wanting someone you don’t want to want, but just can’t help it. Yes, the struggle is real, and is one that many have faced from time to time. The relatable song is showcased nicely with Rae’s powerful delivery.

“I’m so excited about this song,” said Rae. “It has the perfect combination of vulnerability and sass. So many people can relate to this situation—I know I can! It is a privilege to be the one singing it out there to the world.”

Currently, the singer/songwriter is working on her full length studio album. In the meantime, fans can pick up Camille Rae’s “But I Want To” now on digital music outlets such as iTunes Here.
