Devin Dawson To Make “Ellen” Debut on March 22

Having just received his first ACM Awards nod, New Male Vocalist nominee Devin Dawson has yet another achievement to celebrate with his ELLEN debut set for Thursday, March 22. He built tremendous momentum in 2017 starting with his first national TV performance on Late Night with Seth Meyers of his current Top 5 single “All On Me.” The Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville breakout star exploded out of the gate earlier this year with the release of his debut album Dark Horse to overwhelming critical acclaim.

With a writing credit on every track, Dark Horse arrived Top 3 and Top 5 on Billboard’s Country Albums Sales and Country Albums charts respectively, making it this year’s highest charting debut from a solo male so far. The rising star celebrated with multiple performances of his “memorably melodic breakout” (Billboard), which boasts nearly 80 million streams to date, on NBC’s TODAY (WATCH HERE) and The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (WATCH HERE).

As the only country artist on Entertainment Weekly’s “8 Artists Who Will Rule 2018” list and Shazam’s “Next to Know” list, Dawson was also singled out by People and ELLE as the only male recording artist across all genres to watch this year. In addition, Rolling Stone, Huffington Post, Billboard, The Tennessean, AXS, HITS, Pandora, Amazon Music and many more predicted that Dawson is not one to miss.

Dawson recently joined an all-star musical lineup and the Nashville Ballet for their 2018 Ballet Ball paying tribute to music icon Johnny Cash. The Nor-Cal native, who grew up not too far from Folsom Prison, performed a beautiful rendition of Cash’s “God Will Cut You Down” alongside famed Native American guitarist Bill Miller and an interpretive dance by the ballet. The evening was hosted by Cash’s son, John Carter Cash and wife Ana Cristina Cash, and also featured Sheryl Crow, Ronnie Dunn and Jamey Johnson.

The singer/songwriter will bring his “intoxicating swirl of pop, R&B, and rock” (Entertainment Weekly) to life on the road this spring as he heads out on tour with Brett Eldredge. His recently added headline dates continue to near capacity with Nashville’s March 29 show selling out in less than 24 hours. Full tour dates and available tickets can be purchased here.

Scotty McCreery has lived a lot of life in between his last album in 2013 and his long-awaited new album, Seasons Change, available everywhere this Friday, March 16 on Triple Tigers Records. He moved out on his own, went to college, released a book, proposed to his high school sweetheart, and most recently, notched his first No. 1 single with “Five More Minutes,” a song written by McCreery after losing his grandfather.

“I feel like people will get to know the real me when they listen to Seasons Change,” said McCreery. “I’ve had quite the life journey since my last album.
