RCA Records Nashville artist Chris Young celebrated his latest No. 1 single, “I’m Comin’ Over,” the title track to his just released fifth studio album, with an appearance on NBC’s Today Show earlier this morning. The chart-topper is his sixth to hit the top spot on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart and his seventh No. 1 overall.

Young was surprised with the news on-air by Today Show anchor Matt Lauer before performing “I’m Comin’ Over,” returning again in the 10am hour to sing fan favorite, “Aw Naw.” Watch Here.

“I’m a numbers guy so it’s hard for anybody to get anything over on me when it comes to the charts…but I had no idea that I would find out from Matt Lauer just before I performed on the Today Show,” declared Young. “Never have I been told that I have a No. 1 song quite like this, and then for it to happen in the same week that my brand new record released, it was absolutely amazing!”

Released by RCA Nashville, I’m Comin’ Over features eleven tracks – nine of which were co-written by Young – including his Gold certified single “I’m Comin’ Over,” which is currently #1 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Also included on the disc is “Sober Saturday Night,” a collaboration with Vince Gill, and “Think Of You,” a duet with Cassadee Pope, the special guest on Young’s 2016 tour. The album marks the first time that Young has co-produced, working alongside Corey Crowder.

Fans can also purchase tickets for Young’s recently announced 2016 “I’m Comin’ Over” Tour, presented by AEG Live, at ChrisYoungCountry.com and aeglive.com.
