In an exclusive interview with ET, Rory indicated that he will not continue to make music without his wife Joey.

“This is the last record that Joey and I will ever get to make and the last songs we’ll ever get to sing together,” he tells ET exclusively. “I have no desire to go on singing or performing without her.” Read more here.

The final album for the duo Joey & Rory, Hymns That Are Important To Us, will be released on February 12. An exclusive deluxe package of this special project will be available at Cracker Barrel.

Cloverdayle Releases Poignant Lyric Video – “Legacy”

Cloverdayle, country duo comprised of husband & wife Chad and Rachel Hamar, just released a powerful lyric video entitled “Legacy.” With the news of Joey Feek affecting the entire country music community, as well as cancer affecting so many others, Chad and Rachel brought a song idea into a writing session in Nashville. “Legacy” was brought to life and will no doubt impact many.

In a statement on social media, Cloverdayle stated: “It seems like every time we turn on the news or check social media, there is yet another story of someone lost to cancer. David Bowie, Lemmy Kilmister, Dan Haggerty, Richard Libertini, Brian Bedford, Alan Rickman, Rene Angelil, Daniel Dion…all within days of each other.

When you really stop to think about it, we’re all dying. For some of us it might be tomorrow. For some of us it might be 100 years from now. It may be disease or old age, but the reality is we are all at some part of our journey towards the finish line with a finite number of days left here on Earth.

When we took this song idea into a writing session with our co-writers Elizabeth Marlowe and Rob Wolf, we didn’t know if they would think the subject was too heavy, but they jumped in head first with us… Everyone we know has been affected in some way by cancer. We personally have had the amazing privilege of witnessing some incredible wins and heartbreaking losses to the disease. And in both the winning and the losing, we have seen the strength, power and dignity of the undefeatable human spirit. One of those battles has been all over the media lately.

This fall we were honored to be in the audience of what, (unbeknownst to all of us), could potentially be the last public performance by the duo Joey and Rory Feek. This couple has very publicly shared their incredibly poignant journey of Joey’s fight with cervical cancer which in turn, inspired us to write this very difficult song and share it with you. We wrote it because we had something to say about this shared experience we call life…beginning, middle and end.

The Feeks, along with so many others, have and will continue to inspire all of us to not only live strong, but to die even stronger. To laugh hard, but more importantly to love even harder. Because when that day comes and we are looking back on what we leave behind, we’re going to want to see that our life, our time, was everything we wanted it to be. A legacy…”

Brothers Osborne Release Debut Album Release, Gear Up For TV Appearances

EMI Records Nashville’s Brothers Osborne released their highly anticipated debut album, Pawn Shop, today, Friday January 15. In support of the album release, John and TJ Osborne will make their national TV debut with NBC’s “Late Night With Seth Meyers” Monday, January 18 followed by “TODAY” on Tuesday, January 19 during the 9AM hour.

Brothers Osborne take a different approach to being a duo. While TJ Osborne takes lead on all of the vocals and plays rhythm guitar, his brother John shreds on lead guitar and provides harmony to TJ.

“It’s really built off of me singing and John playing the guitar,” says TJ. “So, I think it is unique and fun and cool, and it kind of gives two kind of parallels that I think work really nicely together.”

John describes it as a kind of old-school rock approach. “In country music, you have two singers that sing a lot of harmonies and stuff together, and we do that as brothers – sing a lot together – but his voice in the band is his voice and my voice is guitar,” he says. “We look back at a lot of old rock bands like Aerosmith to The Allman Brothers and guys like that, where it’s like a lead singer and the sideman guitar player. That’s the approach that we’re going for, and it seems to be really working for us. It’s kind of carving our path in country music.”

The duo recently earned their first ever GRAMMY nomination for their current Top 5 hit “Stay A Little Longer”. The RIAA Gold-certified tune continues to garner critical acclaim with Rolling Stone applauding the “epic and inspired picking that identify the Maryland natives as one of Nashville’s best.” Fellow country artist Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum adds, “Absolutely love this song, and TJ Osborne’s voice floors me.”

Pawn Shop is available now at retail stores as well as digital media outlets such as iTunes HERE.

Brothers Osborne is currently touring with Jon Pardi as part of the All Time High Tour. For a full list of tour dates, news, images and more, visit www.BrothersOsborne.com.
