The Cadillac Three’s Tour Trailer Breaks Off Into Traffic

The Cadillac Three faced a close call today when their new, custom trailer broke off from their tour bus into traffic on a highway in Canada. Fortunately, everyone is safe and there were no injuries from the incident.

The Cadillac Three is currently out on Kip Moore’s Wild Ones Tour. It appears that the trailer carried a lot of their tour equipment which, unfortunately, some was damaged during the incident. Band member Jaren Johnston indicated that the band would still perform throughout the tour, but will be using limited gear.

We’re so glad to hear that everyone is safe and nobody was hurt. We have no doubt that The Cadillac Three will continue to rock The Wild Ones Tour, regardless of their limited gear.

Chris Stapleton Shows His Funny Side on Jimmy Kimmel Live

Chris Stapleton showed his funny side on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night (February 17th), just days after winning two GRAMMY Awards.

Not only did he perform “When the Stars Come Out” with wife Morgane and producer Dave Cobb, as well as the rest of his band, but he also was game for a fake TV ad for a “special concept album,” titled Chringeworthy, in which he takes some of the most irritating words in the English language and turns them into songs. Some of the words include “delish,” “moist” and juicy,” as well as “panties,” “scrotum” and “vajayjay.”During the ad, Chris pledged that he would “turn all the words you hate the most, into songs you will love the most.” And, if you didn’t wait to buy it, you could also get a free tube of ointment.

Chris tops the ACM nominations, alongside Eric Church, with five. He earned nods in both the Male Vocalist and New Male Vocalist categories, as well as Vocal Event for “Hangover Tonight” with Gary Allan, plus nominations as both artist and producer in the Album of the Year category for Traveller. These mark Chris’ first nominations as an artist. He was previously nominated as a songwriter in 2014 for “Drink A Beer,” which was recorded by Luke Bryan (with Stapleton on background vocals). The Academy of Country Music Awards will air live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas April 3rd beginning at 8pm ET on CBS.

Drake White Joins Salt Life as New Team Member for the Lifestyle Brand

Aquatic lifestyle brand Salt Life announced today that “full on howler of a vocalist” (Rolling Stone) Drake White is their newest team member. He will promote the brand through various sponsorships and events alongside professional fishermen, divers and surfers. Learn more about Team Salt Life here.

Salt Life President Jeff Stillwell states, “We are excited to welcome Drake White to the growing and accomplished Salt Life team. He is an avid waterman, a great artist and fits perfectly with the Salt Life brand. We look forward to this partnership.”

“Salt Life’s brand embodies the type of lifestyle I’ve always lived,” White expressed. “Being immersed in outdoor adventures from the river to the ocean and trails in between is when I feel my best, truest self, so I’m really excited to be a part of this team.”

White’s music and carefree existence are heavily influenced by his experiences growing up with roots in a small Alabama town in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, not far from Muscle Shoals. Recently named “the strongest, most refined voice the genre doesn’t know about yet” by Taste of Country, White released his Dot Records’ single “Livin’ the Dream” at the end of 2015 and was named one of Huffington Post’s “Top Country Artists to Watch in 2016.” When he’s not on the road touring with his band the Big Fire and opening for acts such as Little Big Town and Zac Brown Band, White is an avid duck hunter who feels most at home on the water in his rural hometown. His raw, soulful sound and timeless songwriting resonate with the Salt Life brand and make him a perfect addition to the team.
