Olivia Lane Releases “Make My Own Sunshine” Music Video

Big Spark Music Group’s Olivia Lane has recently released the music video for her latest single, “Make My Own Sunshine.” Written by Lane, producer Ilya Toshinskiy and hit maker Jim Beavers, the playful song is climbing the country radio charts and an acoustic version is featured on her current mixtape HEART UNLOCKED.

“If I had to sum up how I try to live my life every day, this video relays that energy. ‘Make My Own Sunshine’ is about deciding to turn your day around regardless of the circumstances,” illuminates Lane. “All in all, I hope this video makes people smile!”

Produced by Tiny Terror Productions’ Jennifer Rothlein and directed by James King, the light-hearted video captures a vibrant Lane making the most of “Murphy’s law” type moments, whether it’s a fender bender, spilt coffee or pouring rain. For the frigid yet sunny February shoot, filmed just outside of Nashville, cranes and hoses were brought in to stream water and create the illusion of rain for the video’s enchanting conclusion- a “Singin’ in the Rain” inspired dance medley à la Gene Kelly.

Garnering media attention, Entertainment Weekly selected Lane as a “Breaking Big” artist and Rolling Stone Country named her one of “10 New Country Artists You Need To Know.” She was also chosen for CMT’s Listen Up Music Discovery Program. Jason Aldean Releases New Single “Lights Come On”

LoCash’s Tour Bus Doubles As Tattoo Parlor

Wanting to get a new tattoo and need an artist? Chris Lucas of country music duo LOCASH might “Know Somebody”. The top-charting “I Love This Life” singer has proven just how impactful the recent No. 1 single has been for him and bandmate Preston Brust with a tattoo in its honor.

Thanks to the success of “I Love This Life” and the brand new single “I Know Somebody” climbing the charts, the hit-making duo has been busier than ever. A stop at the tattoo parlor may not be the easiest to pencil in when on a nationwide tour, but where there’s a “wheel” there’s a way. While passing through Kansas City, Kansas on tour, Lucas dialed up local shop Shrunken Heads and invited one of their artists to tattoo his left shoulder in the back lounge of the LOCASH tour bus.

“I get a star tattoo for any song I write or sing that changes my life, and ‘I Love This Life’ definitely did,” says Lucas of his new ink.

Lucas’ life has been full of impactful moments lately, as he and his wife welcomed their second child, Remi McKenna Lucas, last week on Monday, March 21. Lucas recently got a tattoo to commemorate the birth of his new baby girl with her full name on his arm.

As the current single “I Know Somebody” rises on the charts, there may be another tour bus tattoo on the horizon for Lucas. The highly anticipated follow-up to “I Love This Life” salutes LOCASH’s loyal fan base, to whom Lucas and Brust credit their success.

Both songs come from the duo’s current E.P., I Love This Life, their first E.P. release from the Nashville and New Jersey label, Reviver Records. The E.P. is available for download on iTunes and Amazon.

Charles Kelley Releases New Single “Lonely Girl” To Country Radio

GRAMMY winning singer/songwriter Charles Kelley releases “Lonely Girl” to Country radio today from his “polished yet immensely supple” (NPR) solo album THE DRIVER (Capitol Records Nashville). Fans can catch a performance of the track that has both the New York Times and Rolling Stone applauding Kelley’s “swagger,” this Sunday (4/3) during the 51st Annual ACM Awards at 7:00P CT on CBS.

“I’ve been wanting to cut this song since I heard it about three years ago,” shares Kelley. “At the time, it wasn’t the right fit for Lady A, so when we started digging into my solo project, I knew it would be a big part of the record. It’s not easy to follow Stapleton’s demo, I mean he’s the best singer in our genre, but I put my own little spin on it and it’s turned out to be a favorite live.”

Penned by Chris Stapleton and Jesse Frasure, the new song follows THE DRIVER’s GRAMMY-nominated title track. Before hitting the road this summer with Lady A, Kelley will gear up for THE DRIVER TOUR picked up by Enterprise, with special guest Josh Kelley launching April 9 in Washington, D.C. at The Fillmore.

Levi Hummon Releases Quality Material on Debut EP

Rising country artist Levi Hummon is set to release his debut self-titled EP on Friday, April 1. Signed with The Valory Music Co., the new project features five strong songs, four of which were co-written by Hummon, and serves as a solid introduction to the country newcomer.

Levi delivers an album that is infused with several elements to enjoy, including his smooth vocals and enjoyable music arrangements, that captivates listeners with a fresh, progressive vibe he’s bringing to the genre.
