Deborah Evans Price Returns With Country Faith Volume 2 Set For Release November 18

A brand new installment from the Country Faith music series is on the way with the forthcoming release of Country Faith Volume 2 on November 18. The new collection of inspirational music comes at a perfect time where the world can use a little reminder to have faith.

Country Faith Volume 2 is comprised of thirteen faith based songs, compiled from Country Faith author Deborah Evans Price. The award winning author/journalist has a knack for touching the hearts of many with her work as she illustrates beautiful pieces from country artists. Country Faith Volume 2 serves a wonderful addition to her inspiring collection.

“I’m so excited about this collection of songs on Country Faith Volume 2,” says Evans Price. “The album opens with ‘Pray About Everything,’ Luke Bryan’s upbeat celebration of the power of prayer, and the project continues with such compelling songs of faith as Brad Paisley’s ‘When I Get Where I’m Going,’ Wade Hayes’ ‘What’s a Broken Heart for You,’ Brooks & Dunn’s ‘Believe,’ and many others.   Country artists/songwriters have a unique perspective on faith and God’s grace, and I think listeners will find a great deal of comfort and inspiration in these powerful songs.”

Little Big Town Released “Better Man” Before Revealing Taylor Swift as the Songwriter

Little Big Town’s latest single “Better Man” has made a huge impact on country radio and country fans. When the band first released the single, they didn’t reveal who wrote it. In fact, they waited a over ten days before revealing that music superstar Taylor Swift penned the song.

“We just played it for her after we finished it, and she was really, really excited,” says LBT’s Karen Fairchild. “We said, ‘Hey, you know we’re not just gonna blab this that you wrote this immediately.’ She said, ‘You know what? That’s the greatest honor as a songwriter you could ever give me is that you don’t want anybody to know that I wrote this.’

“We knew we would tell eventually, but and it was a hard question to dodge for a while.” Fairchild continues. “The only reason why we didn’t say is because we wanted you to hear the song for what it’s worth, and it’s a beautiful song. And at her heart, she is the biggest pop star in the world, but she’s a songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee, and she likes to tell a story, and we didn’t want you to have any subtext there, other than to hear this song.”

“Better Man” is available on digital music outlets such as iTunes, and serves as the first single from the band’s forthcoming album, The Breaker, set for release on February 24. Additionally, Little Big Town will celebrate the new album release at the first show of their Nashville residency at The Ryman.

Jana Kramer “Waltz” Her Way In To The Semi-Finals With Perfect Scores on Week 9 of Dancing With The Stars

Jana Kramer had an incredible evening last night on ABC’s Dancing With The Stars. The country singer/songwriter delivered two perfect routines, earning a 40/40 for each dance.

Luckily her partner Gleb Savchenko was able to perform with her for the routines. Earlier in the week he hurt his knee, and Kramer rehearsed with Alan Bersten, but fortunately Gleb was able to dance with Jana for two stunning dances. The theme for the evening was Showstoppers Night and it truly was a showstopping evening, especially where Team Glamer was concerned. Their solo routine was a beautiful waltz in which they performed to “She Used To Be Mine” from Waitress.

Once again the contestants had to perform two dances during the evening. The remaining couples were teamed up, and this week, Jana joined forces with Laurie Hernandez, dubbing themselves as Team Sisters. While each team delivered a fantastic performance, Team Sisters blew everyone away with their epic performance to “Bird Set Free” by Sia. Jana and Laurie proved to the judges and America why they are still in the competition, and earned a 40/40 from the judges.

With last nights performance in the books, Jana Kramer will go on to dance in the semi-finals next week! It’s hard to believe that there are only two weeks left of Season 23’s Dancing With The Stars. Kramer is so close to that mirror ball trophy! Be sure to vote for Jana and let’s see another country star take the mirror ball trophy win!
