Eight Times (So Far) Kip Moore Chased Away Our Winter Blues While On His Winter Vacation

2016 was a massive year for Kip Moore and he spent a majority of it out on the road touring, as he did the year before that and the year before that. In an interview with Rare Country in early December, the singer/songwriter revealed that would be taking a break, not only from touring but from music in general.

“I’m going to walk away from it” Moore exclusively reveals to Rare Country. “I’m not going to bring a guitar, and I’m not going to do anything with music. I’m going to surf and snowboard and camp and just try to get my head right. My head hasn’t been in the best place so I want to try and work on all that and get settled for next year.”

So far the new year has found Moore in tropical paradise, and thankfully he’s been documenting it via Instagram for us all to enjoy! Check out eight times (so far) Kip Moore has chased away our winter blues while he is enjoying some breathtaking views and great company.

Dierks Bentley Heats Up Iceland With Music Video for “Black”

Dierks Bentley’s latest single, “Black,” is one of his most personal songs to date. The new single is also the name of his highly acclaimed eighth studio album which is named after his wife Cassidy’s maiden name. Bentley brings the song to new levels with the release of its music video which was filmed in Iceland, yes Iceland!

Over the course of four days, an epic video was shot bringing the song cinematically to life. Bentley initially debuted the video on TIME, and is now available to watch on YouTube and VEVO.

“We’ve been talking about Iceland as a location since before I even released the album last year, but I never thought we’d actually go. The next thing I know, there’s a shoot booked and we are standing on the side of a glacier half-dressed,”  laughed Bentley. “The crew wasn’t kidding around….it was four long, cold days in some really treacherous conditions. We were on a lot of the same locations that ‘Game Of Thrones’ and the Star Wars films have shot, and it’s just crazy what those people go through every day. I had the idea of putting my wife in the video, which is totally taking her out of her comfort zone, but I just couldn’t imagine doing a video for this song without her in it and she reluctantly agreed…but then totally NAILED it. It wouldn’t have been genuine without her. I think the end result is something really special, and it was a trip of a lifetime for everyone involved.”
