Thomas Rhett Releases Cinematic Music Video for “Craving You” featuring Maren Morris

ACM Male Vocalist of the Year Thomas Rhett is giving fans a glimpse of a different side of himself with the official music video for “Craving You” featuring Maren Morris out now. Shot in the style of an action-packed movie trailer over the course of two days in Nashville, Thomas Rhett and Morris take fans on a wild ride with a twist ending that director TK McKamy describes as “Jason Bourne meets Oceans Eleven meets Snatch.”

“There are a lot of crazy action scenes – a lot of firsts for me in general in this video,” said Thomas Rhett. “I’ve always wanted to get to do a fight sequence and play a tough guy, but I think Maren definitely shows me up! TK really pushed us both since we’d never really acted before.”

Scotty McCreery To Release New Single “Five More Minutes” May 5

The phrase “the song remembers when” was definitely true for Scotty McCreery when he wrote “Five More Minutes” in 2015, a fan favorite that he first premiered on The Grand Ole Opry stage last year. In the song, a reflective McCreery recalls events ranging from an early date with longtime sweetheart Gabi to his grandfather’s final moments. He is finally sharing it with the world this Friday, May 5, through digital retailers (including iTunes and Amazon) and online streaming services.

“I’ve been performing ‘Five More Minutes’ in my live show every night for almost a year and it always earns a standing ovation,” said McCreery. “Fans have been asking me for months to release it. When Frank, Monty and I got together to write, we talked about all those moments we could’ve used five more minutes to say ‘I love you’ or ‘goodbye’….it poured out.  Now we can get it out to fans on Friday, May 5. ‘Five More Minutes’ on 5/5… it’s fate. And it’s my favorite song I’ve ever written.”

McCreery wrote “Five More Minutes” with Frank Rogers and Monty Criswell in 2015, two weeks after the passing of his paternal grandfather who serves as a major inspiration for the song.  In a few minutes’ time, McCreery takes the listener on an emotional journey through both the joys and sorrows of life, ending with a plea for “five more minutes” with his grandfather. The song was produced by Rogers.

The multi-Platinum-selling singer debuted the song on the Grand Ole Opry in June 2016 to a standing ovation and thunderous applause. A video of the performance was soon posted to the Opry’s YouTube channel, quickly garnering millions of views in spite of the fact that the song had not yet been released. The performance recently earned McCreery a Rare Country Award for Grand Ole Opry Moment of the Year.

Sam Hunt Tops The Charts with “Body Like A Back Road”

Country superstar Sam Hunt tops the charts with his hit single, “Body Like a Back Road.” The hot new track claimed the top spot on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart this week, and remains at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Chart for a second week.

“I can’t say that I expected for it to do as well as it has done. If you listen to the first record, you can see how I fit into that song, but also it’s different. It’s not like anything from the first record, so it was cool to go out on a limb a little bit, but to have the fans of the first record get on board. So, that was cool,” says Sam. “The success that it’s had has just been awesome. It’s not that polarizing of a song, so fortunately I think it’s palatable to a lot of tastes and people have enjoyed it, hopefully. So, it’s been awesome to have a song after the first record. Your second record is always the thing that everybody’s saying, ‘Well, let’s see if he can do it again’ or whatever. They call it the ‘Sophomore Slump,’ I think. I’m just so glad that [laughs] this song has reacted right off the bat and I don’t feel like I’m behind the eight ball.”

“Body Like a Back Road” serves as the lead single from Hunt’s forthcoming album. With its release a mere 13 weeks ago, the smash hit single has already sold over 805K digital downloads and over 117 million streams.

Sam Hunt is set to highlight the chart topping single and many more as he embarks on his headlining 15 In A 30 Tour this summer.

Devin Dawson Makes Massive Country Radio Debut with “All On Me”

Warner Music Nashville/Atlantic Records’ Devin Dawson became the most added new artist this week at country radio with his debut single “All On Me.” This kicks off an enormous week for Dawson, who will perform the single this Thursday, May 4, on Late Night with Seth Meyers followed by his Grand Ole Opry debut on May 5.

“16 years of writing, playing, and singing music. 10 years of being a touring musician. Five years of living in Nashville. Two years of writing for this record. Two months in the studio recording. 11 weeks (so far) of radio tour and hundreds of new friends and unforgettable experiences. It all boils down to this ONE SONG, ONE DAY, and ONE DREAM of many,” says Dawson. “Thank you to my friends at Country Radio for adding “All On Me” and supporting my purpose and my dream! Can’t wait for this song to reach the rest of the world.”

Dawson has already received early industry recognition, featured as a Rolling Stone: 10 Artists You Need To Know, a current CMT: 17 for 2017 Artists to Watch, a 2017 VEVO dscvr artist and part of iHeartCountry’s Digital Artist Integration Program. CMT notes that with “his unique vibe and his soulful, blues-infused sound, you’ll pick Dawson out of a crowd with ease…setting out to forge his own path in country music” while Taste of Country tells listeners to be ready for “a unique, confident sound from a new artist who has taken the time to mold his craft.”

With a nomination as the Association of Independent Music Publisher’s Rising Independent Artist-Writer of the Year, Dawson has already amassed over eight million total streams with “All On Me” reaching #3 on Spotify’s US Viral Chart and #5 on their Global Viral Chart.

Wrapping the Maren Morris Hero Tour earlier this year, Dawson will also join Tim McGraw and Faith Hill later this summer to play select dates on their Soul2Soul Tour.
