Dustin Lynch Announces Third Studio Album CURRENT MOOD Set for Release September 8

Broken Bow Records star Dustin Lynch revealed the details of his hotly-anticipated third album, announcing the project’s title and release date via livestream during a homecoming party at the historic George Dickel Distillery in Tullahoma, TN today (8/9).

Titled CURRENT MOOD, the album will hit store shelves and digital outlets on SEPTEMBER 8 and features 13 bold new tracks. Along with confirmed GOLD-certified hits “Seein’ Red” and “Small Town Boy,” the project stands proudly at Country music’s cutting edge, giving fans a look inside Lynch’s relentlessly creative mind.

“This album is a glimpse into the last three years of my life…the travel, the adventures, the relationships and the personal growth,” says Lynch. “I think this is the most personal release I have done and I’m really excited to share with everyone my CURRENT MOOD.”

Produced by Brent Anderson, Mickey Jack Cones, Ross Copperman, Zach Crowell, and Will Weatherly, CURRENT MOOD stretches all the way from timeless roots Country and grooving Top 40 R&B, to lush millennial Pop and sunny SoCal power Punk. Preorders for the album begin this Thursday (8/10) on all digital retailers

CURRENT MOOD is the long-awaited third chapter in Lynch’s rise to Country stardom. His self-titled debut and WHERE IT’S AT follow-up landed at #1 and #2 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart, respectively, and his first single, “Cowboys and Angels,” achieved PLATINUM status.

The Tennessee native has since racked up four consecutive GOLD or PLATINUM-certified #1 singles (“Where It’s At,” “Hell of a Night,” “Mind Reader,” and “Seein’ Red”), while his current release – the romantically-charged Top 5 radio hit “Small Town Boy” – has become the fastest-rising single of his career.

Adding to the excitement, Lynch has also announced a headlining tour in support of the new album. Kicking off November 3 in Fayetteville, NC, THE RIDE OR DIE TOUR will visit 15 cities from New York to Los Angeles and wrap on December 17 in Grand Rapids, MI.

Showing his progression into a top-flight entertainer, Lynch’s headlining run will highlight the onstage intensity he’s honed on the road with Luke Bryan and Florida Georgia Line, bringing openers Michael Ray, Ryan Hurd, and LANCO along for the ride on select dates. Pre-sales for THE RIDE OR DIE TOUR begin August 21. Die-hard fans can pre-order the album, as well as exclusive merchandise bundles, for first-chance access to tickets for THE RIDE OR DIE TOUR. Details and all special offers are available at DustinLynchMusic.com.

Until then, he’ll continue electrifying massive crowds through the summer, serving as the featured opener on Brad Paisley’s WEEKEND WARRIOR WORLD TOUR, which finishes up September 24 with a show at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater in St. Louis, MO. Lynch will also keep the summertime mood going as he is next slated to appear on ABC’s CMA Fest: The Music Event of Summer, airing August 16 at 8 p.m. (ET).

Inaugural Flambeau Fest Announces All-Star Lineup

Flambeau Fest has been announced! The festival’s inaugural weekend will take place at Ascension Fields @ Lamar Dixon in Gonzales, LA, minutes outside Baton Rouge, on October 7 and 8, 2017. Its superstar country and classic rock lineup of Sam Hunt, Hank Williams Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd, Dustin Lynch, Chase Rice, Blackberry Smoke, Jacob Davis and many more will ignite Flambeau‘s mainstage over an explosive two days.

Inheriting its name from the processional torch of Mardi Gras, Flambeau Fest is the new torchbearer for American music in the South – a beacon of music, arts and family culture.

VIP packages & limited Early Bird tickets are on a special PRE-SALE NOW. Flambeau Fest Official ON-SALE Friday Aug 11, 10 AM CST. PRESS HERE for tickets.

The Flambeau Fest vision began in 2015 with producers Mark Miller, Eddie Pearce and David Addison. Its flame now fanned, Flambeau is poised to rekindle an area of southern Louisiana that has not seen the launch of a large-scale music event since the devastating Baton Rouge area flood of 2016. While paying homage to history and the heritage of its namesake, Flambeau will establish its own traditions to emerge as a truly unique experience, blending current and classic to showcase all Louisiana has to offer.

Flambeau Fest is a two-day, multi-stage event at Ascension Fields featuring world class musical artists, regional breakout performers, famous southern cuisine, local and regional artisans, and the community-orientated hospitality that defines southern Louisiana culture. Flambeau Fest will present three stages filled with great music. The MAIN Stage will be loaded with A-list national Country artists and southern rock icons. The Torch Stage will showcase rising stars in country music, including multiple regional breakout talents.

Unique to Flambeau Fest, the Nashville Songwriter stage will host the acoustic melodies of some of the greatest Nashville #1 hit songwriters, strumming inside the Louisiana Libations Tent which offers tastings from local craft breweries, distilleries, and wineries. This is complemented by the separate Food Promenade, which features a wide variety of authentic cuisine from the region’s top vendors.

“We feel the flambeau itself is an authentic metaphor for the torch lighting the way to new experiences – a creative, musical, and cultural expansion,” says Flambeau producer Mark Miller. “The image spoke to what we wanted to build. Flambeau Fest will serve proudly as a new torchbearer for the southern festival.”

For local and regional businesses, Flambeau Fest will drive tourism dollars toward the effort of rebuilding an area hit hard by flooding. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will be donated to the Lynyrd Skynyrd Foundation for education and cultural impact.

A limited amount of 2-Day Early Bird tickets are available for $119. 2-Day VIP packages are available at $319 (VIP) and $679 (PLATINUM). PRESS HERE to purchase tickets and VIP packages.
