Dylan Scott To Release “Nothing To Do Town” EP April 26

One of Country’s hottest young hitmakers begins a brand new chapter on April 26, as Curb Records artist Dylan Scott drops his electrifying NOTHING TO DO TOWN EP. Pre-orders for the project are available now.

Mixing Scott’s hard-charging romantic edge with themes inspired by family and his youth in rural Northeast Louisiana, NOTHING TO DO TOWN features six fresh tracks – five of which were co-written by the rising star himself. Produced by Matt Alderman, Curt Gibbs, and Jim Ed Norman, the project aims for a sweet spot between laid back Country tenderness and danceable, chest-thumping thrills, building on the success of Scott’s PLATINUM and GOLD-certified breakouts, “My Girl” and “Hooked.”

“The past two years – both personally and professionally – have been the most exciting of my life,” shared Scott. “With my new single hitting radio on Monday and my tour kicking off in New York City three days later, 2019 is starting off in a whirlwind and I couldn’t be more excited. I can’t wait to get back out on the road and play new music. Looks like it’s going to be a busy year!”

NOTHING TO DO TOWN EP Track Listing
1. “Nothing To Do Town” – Dylan Scott, Matt Alderman, Cole Taylor
2. “Look At Us Now” – Dylan Scott, Matt Alderman, Dallas Wilson
3. “Nobody” – Dylan Scott, Matt Alderman, Dallas Wilson
4. “You Got Me” – Justin Wilson, Jason Sever, Kyle Fishman
5. “Honey I’m Home” – Dylan Scott, Matt Alderman, Lindsay Rimes
6. “Anniversary” – Dylan Scott, Matt Alderman, Corey Crowder

The EP’s up-tempo, hometown-repping first single “Nothing To Do Town” will begin impacting Country radio playlists on Monday (1/14), looking to continue Scott’s reign at Country radio as his third consecutive Top 5 smash.

Previously, “Hooked” was named the #7 most-played song on Country radio of 2018, while the deeply personal chart-topper “My Girl” connected as the #6 most-played song one year earlier. Co-written by Scott with Cole Taylor and Matt Alderman, “Nothing To Do Town” looks poised to follow the trend, with Taste of Country proclaiming: “Dylan Scott’s small-town confessional might become the easiest radio hit of 2019.”

The track has already garnered more than 2.5 million digital streams, while its outdoorsy video has been viewed nearly 400,000 times on YouTube. Stream or download “Nothing To Do Town” here, and watch Scott revisit his roots in the official “Nothing To Do Town” music video here.

Up next for Scott is the January 17 kickoff to his headlining 2019 NOTHING TO DO TOWN TOUR. Featuring 19 dates with special guest Seth Ennis, the run begins with two SOLD OUT nights in New York City and Boston, and will also visit Cincinnati, OH; Detroit, MI; Minneapolis, MN; Nashville, TN; Orlando, FL; and more before wrapping on February 23 in Charlotte, NC.

Meanwhile, Scott is set to highlight the coveted NEW FACES showcase lineup at the 2019 Country Radio Seminar in Nashville February 15 – an honor recognizing him as one of the most promising artists of the coming year. The CRS is not alone in that belief, though, as Scott just received his first ever award nomination. He’ll be up for BEST NEW COUNTRY ARTIST at the March 14 iHeartRadio Music Awards at Los Angeles’ Microsoft Theater, airing live on Fox and more than 150 iHeartRadio radio stations nationwide.

Dustin Lynch Scores No.1 Single with “Good Girl”

Dustin Lynch got himself a #1, this time as both an artist and a songwriter. With mixing “a shot of R&B into his country tonic” (Taste of Country), the PLATINUM-certified hitmaker’s “Good Girl” tops both the Billboard and Country Aircheck/Mediabase Country Airplay charts this week. Finding “an unmistakable sound to call his own,” he co-wrote the surprise summertime anthem alongside Justin Ebach and Andy Albert that left fans and critics wanting more (Taste of Country).

“I’ve never started the year with a #1 song, and I’ve got to say, this feels really good,” Lynch remarked. “I moved to town with the dream of writing songs and singing on stage, and finally the stars aligned, and everything worked out. I’ve learned the lesson of perseverance, of hard work and continuing to hone your craft.”

Following the success of his third studio album CURRENT MOOD (Broken Bow Records), “Good Girl” delivers Lynch’s SIXTH #1 as an artist with 47 MILLION total streams and garnering over 455,000 in consumption. The hit is a landmark achievement unique to his previous chart success, marking his first #1 as a songwriter, something Lynch has waited for since the beginning of his career and finds “very very special. As a songwriter, getting a #1 is life-changing.”

Lynch’s previous #1 hits include PLATINUM-certified “Small Town Boy” and “Where It’s At,” and GOLD-certified chart-toppers “Hell of a Night,” “Mind Reader,” and “Seein’ Red,” tallying an impressive 5 consecutive #1 singles between 2014-2017. His signature Tennessee sound has “steadily built one of the most consistent careers in modern country music” (Billboard).

In 2018, Lynch was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry by iconic entertainer Reba McEntire. He presented the awards for Single Record of the Year and Single of the Year at the 53rd ACM Awards and the 52nd CMA Awards, and wrapped 2018 with the REASON TO DRINK…ANOTHER TOUR, packing out venues nationwide with Cole Swindell and special guest Lauren Alaina.

This year, Lynch will make his UK debut at C2C in March, and will join the Canadian leg of Thomas Rhett’s LIFE CHANGES TOUR starting in April and North American VERY HOT SUMMER TOUR starting in May as direct support, but that’s just the beginning for this “Country music star” (AXS).

“Hopefully as a songwriter this is the start,” said Lynch. “With new music on the way, I can guarantee there will be more right around the corner.”

Chase Rice Add 21 Additional Dates To His “Eyes On You Tour”

Platinum-certified entertainer Chase Rice continues his run of headlining success as he continues the coast-to-coast Eyes On You Tour into 2019, announcing 21 additional dates across the U.S. and Canada.

The second leg begins Friday, February 22 in St. Louis, Missouri and continues through Saturday, May 11 in Hampton Beach, New Hampshire, following Rice’s string of sell-outs on the first leg of the Eyes On You Tour as well as six shows as direct support on Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour 2018.

The Tennessean highlights his “national fan base, thanks to a ferocious touring schedule” while Taste of Country proclaims that “the unapologetic rock and R&B influenced showstoppers make his live show an event to catch.” AXS.com agrees, remarking that “Rice commands a performance with such force and zeal, that he will have you hooked from the time you walk in the doors to the time you leave.”

“Having a song like ‘Eyes On You’ connect at this level has taken our live show to another level,” shares Rice. “Every night I have to take a minute and film them singing the words back to us on stage.”

The tour takes its name from Rice’s current single “Eyes On You,” praised by Billboard as “the latest sign for Rice that things are working” and Wide Open Country as “the tune that elevates him to the next level… the type of song that could become a singalong staple of Rice’s live show for decades.” The song that became a fan-favorite at live shows and on streaming platforms before even being announced as a single is now Top 30 and climbing at Country radio.
