Hostess Brands, LLC announced that the company has teamed up with the Country Music Association (CMA), Sony Music Nashville & Brad Paisley for a sweet summertime collaboration.

This summer, select Hostess® Twinkies® and Donettes® items — including new Chocolate Peanut Butter Twinkies hitting store shelves this month — will include a code providing access to a Spotify playlist curated by the country music super star and featuring tracks from his #1 album Love And War. Hostess fans also have the chance to enter a Sweepstakes to win a grand prize trip to the 51st Annual CMA Awards on November 8 in Nashville.

The special code will be available in multipacks of Twinkies, Chocolate Peanut Butter Twinkies, Chocolate Cake Twinkies, Fudge Covered Twinkies and Banana Twinkies, as well as in bags of select Donettes flavors – Frosted, Powdered and Double Chocolate. The code provides access to a 42 song Spotify playlist curated by Brad Paisley, featuring songs that serve as a soundtrack to a summer of fun.

“Hostess Brands is delighted to partner with Brad Paisley on this exciting summer initiative – a move which is sure to delight Hostess enthusiasts and music lovers alike,” said Keith Peterfeso, Brand Director of Twinkies, Hostess Brands. “The collaboration also provides a great opportunity to highlight the innovative, new Twinkie flavors Hostess has rolled out in recent months – such as Chocolate Peanut Butter Twinkies, which only recently landed on store shelves.”

Consumers will also have the opportunity to enter for a chance to attend the 51st Annual CMA Awards. One grand prize winner will win a three-day/two-night trip for two to the Awards. The trip includes roundtrip transportation, two nights’ hotel accommodations and two tickets to the 51st Annual CMA Awards on November 8, 2017.

“CMA is thrilled to bring partners together to create compelling programs that reach new fans while supporting an artist,” said Damon Whiteside, Chief Marketing Officer, CMA. “This partnership also offers a unique opportunity to introduce streaming platforms such as Spotify to more Country fans who may not yet be exposed to them.”

“This partnership is a perfect example of four brands working together to deliver a surprise-and-delight opportunity for the consumer,” said John Zarling, Executive Vice President, Marketing & New Business, Sony Music Nashville. “By aligning Sony Music Nashville’s Brad Paisley, Hostess, Spotify and the Country Music Association into the marketing mix, all parties win. We are excited about this collaboration to promote Love And War, the Hostess Summer Playlist and an opportunity to attend the CMA Awards to Hostess enthusiasts.”

Hostess kicked off the campaign at CMA Music Festival last month, where consumers had the chance to enjoy new and classic Hostess snacks. Fans lined up, often 100 deep, for the chance to play games and take selfies with Twinkie the Kid®, Hostess’ mascot.
