Nashville native Levi Hummon will debut his self-titled EP on Friday, April 1. Creating a buzz among critics, the burgeoning talent has already been named one of CMT’s Listen Up Artists, featured as a Rolling Stone Artist You Need To Know and highlighted as an Artist To Watch by The Huffington Post.

With lyrics and melodies firmly rooted in his DNA, The Valory Music Co. singer/songwriter contributed to four of the five tracks on the Jimmy Robbins produced project.

Having grown up with a variety of Entertainment industry influences, Levi credits early lessons in songwriting to his GRAMMY-Award winning father Marcus Hummon (Rascal Flatts’ “Bless The Broken Road” / Dixie Chicks’ “Cowboy Take Me Away”). Learning to bring his own unique ideas and visions to a musical life, Levi has collaborated with notable songwriters Jon Nite, Andrew Dorff, Shane MacAnally, Josh Osbourne, Tom Douglas, Nicolle Galyon, Hillary Lindsey and Liz Rose. In 2014, Levi caught the attention of Hall of Fame Songwriter and publisher Desmond Child, which led to to his song “Make It Love” being featured in Two: The Story of Roman & Nero and inclusion on the short list of nominations for the Oscar’s Best Original SongIn addition to his own songs, Levi’s songwriting credits include Superstar Steven Tyler’s current Country single “Red, White and You.”
