Grammy® winner and dog  ‘mother’ to seven rescue dogs, Miranda Lambert, has announced that proceeds from her show at the Route 91 Harvest Festival will go towards her 7th annual charity event, “Cause for the Paws,” to benefit her beloved MuttNation Foundation.

The festival will be held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on October 3rd, 4th and 5th, and features fellow superstar headliners, Blake Shelton on Friday, Miranda on Saturday, and Jason Aldean on Sunday.

“I am so excited to be playing Vegas to raise money for a cause so dear to my heart,” said Miranda. She continued, “With your donations, we are able to watch happy, healthy dogs being given a second chance at life through adoption.”

This year’s “Cause for the Paws” event will include a sold out VIP cocktail party with Miranda on Friday from 5:30pm – 7:30pm; complete with a live and silent auction with items from Blake Shelton, Miranda, Live Nation and MGM Resorts. There will also be an online eBay auction beginning on Friday, October 3rd to coincide with the festivities.

MNF co-founder, Bev Lambert exclaims, “Miranda and I are thrilled to host “Cause for the Paws: Lucky 7” in Las Vegas this year. The opportunity to hold the event in conjunction with the inaugural Rt. 91 Harvest Festival is not only a great opportunity to raise funds and awareness for shelter pets it is also an excellent avenue for  country music fans to see an amazing line up over three nights. It’s a win-win situation so Vegas was the obvious choice for this year’s Lucky # 7!”

Three day passes are still available for the Route 91 Harvest Festival for $199 inclusive of all tax and Ticketmaster fees at ticketmaster.com.  Click here for the full lineup: rt91harvest.com/line.

Last year’s “Cause for the Paws,” held in Thackerville, OK; garnered over $400K, helping further fund Miranda’s shelter support including the “50 States for 50 shelters: Mutts Across America” initiative. The money also contributed to a number of puppy mill rescues, adoption drives and emergency relief efforts including a $20K donation to the rebuilding of shelters in the tornado torn Moore, OK.  “Cause for the Paws” is the MuttNation Foundation’s largest fundraiser each year.

MuttNation Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization and all contributions are 100% tax deductible; and has raised over $1.5 M the past seven years. To donate please visit: MuttNationFoundation.com.
