CMA Award nominees and critically acclaimed duo Dan + Shay (Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney) received their very first Gold plaque Wednesday night in Nashville before their sold-out show at Nashville’s Cannery Ballroom as part of their “Where It All Began Tour

Celebrating more than 720,000 sales of their RIAA Gold certified debut hit single “”19 You + Me,” the pair have sold nearly 1 million total tracks including their current single, “Show You Off,” which continues to climb the country radio charts.

Hot off the heels of Blake Shelton’’s “Ten Times Crazier Tour,” the breakout duo is selling out shows across the country on their own “Where It All Began Tour,” which kicked off earlier this month. Dan + Shay will also perform on NBC’s Today Show next Thursday, October 23rd in anticipation of their sold-out New York City performance at Highline Ballroom that same evening. The pair was recently nominated for CMA Awards’ “Vocal Duo of the Year” and will join a star-studded cast this holiday season on ABC’s CMA Country Christmas this winter.

With an impressive No. 1 album debut of Where It All Began on Billboard’s Country Albums Chart, the breakout act became the only duo in SoundScan reported history to debut in the top spot with their first album on the Country Albums Chart.
