Stoney Creek Records recording artist Adam Craig will release two new songs this Friday, April 5th. Armed with a natural ability to place listeners into the story and make them feel something deeply, Adam transports listeners back to their glory days in a small town with “If You’re Lucky,” while the up-tempo barroom tune “Whatever You’re Drinking To” will have folks longing for a cold one. You can get the two new tracks at midnight Friday (EST) HERE.

The artist’s Top 40 single “Just a Phase” made an indelible mark on the Country format, propelling Rolling Stone to declare him a “blowtorch of a voice” and one of its “10 Country Artists You Need To Know” (Summer 2016).

They are so fun to perfom.

Kassi Ashton Reveals “Pretty Shiny Things” Music Video

Kassi Ashton, one of the most compelling rising stars in Nashville, has unveiled a haunting new music video for her song “Pretty Shiny Things“. The stylish piece features Kassi beautifully made up, lying on a stage surrounded by glass trinkets and mirrors, with a melancholic color palette that matches the emotional lyrics of the song. The lyrics depict the pressures young women face to be perfect on the outside, despite what they are experiencing on the inside.

PAPER Magazine premiered the video, calling Kassi “the next big Country superstar” and dubbed “Pretty Shiny Things” as “a thing of beauty that aims to disguise a darker truth but ends up shining as a haunting beacon of hope.” Read Kassi’s interview with PAPER HERE and watch the video HERE.

“In our society, it feels like we’re forced to evaluate our reflection everywhere we turn, always waiting for a confirmation from someone else that we are enough,” says Ashton. “Putting that, and something so personal for me, into a visual is a weird task. I wanted it to feel real, not forced. Kristin Barlowe helped me so much in marrying what I wanted artistically with the real emotional monologue.”

Filmed in Nashville, TN, the music video was directed by Kristin Barlowe, with whom Kassi previously collaborated with for the music video for her song “Violins“.

“Pretty Shiny Things” was first released on March 22nd, 2019 and was produced by Luke Laird and co-written by Kassi and Emily Landis.

“Lost in the Middle of Nowhere,” which has already garnered over 22 million on-demand streams, reunites Brown with Lauren Alaina, his duet partner on the 4X Platinum smash “What Ifs.”  Now as co-writers, Alaina and Brown penned “Lost in the Middle of Nowhere” with Jon Nite (“Break Up in the End,” “Think a Little Less”) and Jesse Frasure (“Life Changes,” “Dirt on My Boots”).

Remarks Kane Brown, “When I named my album Experiment, one of the things that was important to me was to not feel limited sonically in what I could do, including the types of instruments and collaborations.”  He continues, “I’m a country artist, but I have a range of influences. I didn’t feel pressured to keep it in a certain box because of the way my fans have always been there for me, which has lead to some amazing chances to branch out and work with people I admire throughout a range of genres including Becky G.”

Becky G responds, “It was so much fun to work with my friend Kane Brown on this remix, a fusion of what he and I love most; country and Reggaeton.”
