Kip Moore Announces His Headlining ME AND MY KIND Tour

There’s absolutely no slowing down for MCA recording artist Kip Moore. Since the release of his sophomore album, Wild Ones, Moore has been hard at work with stellar performances showcasing his new music.

This winter found Kip on his headlining Wild Ones Tour which included multiple sold-out shows in the U.S. and the UK. Shortly thereafter and currently, Moore is out on Miranda Lambert’s Keeper of the Flame Tour, as well as several festival dates and his own headlining dates. One would think the country sensation would be thinking about taking a break, but not Kip. The multi-platinum singer/songwriter announced today that his time on the road will continue with his headlining, Me and My Kind Tour.

“Being out on the road is where me and the band feel most at home,” said Moore. “Even though we’ve been nonstop already this year with the headlining shows in The UK and the Miranda tour, it just doesn’t feel natural to slow down, our live show is when we are in our element.  I’m really looking forward to having the opportunity to test some new material that we’ve been working on out on the road and having Jon out with us too, I’m sure we’re going to get into some trouble out there.”

Joining Kip Moore out on his Me and My Kind Tour will be Capital Records recording artist, Jon Pardi. The rising star just recently released his sophomore album, California Sunrise, and will make for a great addition opening up each night of the tour.

In addition to his headlining tour dates, Kip will also be headlining a special concert in Nashville at the Ascend Amphitheater for The Big 98’s annual Guitar-B-Que on Aug. 10. The event will raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

With many in attendance at the concert from the Orlando area, Urban dedicated a powerful cover of U2’s “One” before his set came to an end. “Although I didn’t know anybody in that horrific incident, I did, because they’re just guys and girls, brothers and sisters,” he said. “They had dreams, hopes, plans, just like every one of us.”
