Dan + Shay Celebrate No. 1 Single + Announce Fall Headlining Tour

Country duo Dan + Shay have taken their latest single, “From The Ground Up,” all the up to the top of the Billboard Country and Mediabase charts. The chart topping single serves as the second No.1 for the rising stars, and is the first release from their new album Obsessed.

To celebrate their No. 1 song, Dan + Shay announced that they will be heading out on a headlining tour, the Obsessed Tour.  Named after their sophomore album, Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney will embark on their tour this fall, and will take special guest Walker Hayes along with them.

“We have been so humbled by the response to our new album, and can’t wait to perform live for our fans this fall,” said Dan Smyers. “Our fans inspired the title of the Obsessed album, so it was only fitting to name the tour after the album.”

“We are also so grateful to everyone for help making ‘From The Ground Up’ No. 1,” added Shay Mooney. “This is such a personal song for both of us, and we are thrilled that people have loved the song as much as we do.”

Brett Eldredge To Release Christmas Album This Fall

It may be too early for most to start thinking about Christmas, but not for Brett Eldredge. The country star announced today that he is set to release a Christmas album this fall.

“I’ve been inspired for this record from a very young age,” said Eldredge. “I dreamt of the day I could record all these classic songs that I’ve loved since I was a little kid. I recorded those classics in New York City and tried to give a tip of the hat to the ones that came before me – Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Ray Charles – by adding that swing and that soul to the best of my ability. When it came to actually recording, I wanted to live in the experience. We hung Christmas lights in the studio in the middle of May and had musicians from the best bands in the world all in the same room – from horns to strings. Everyone was so inspired to make this classic record. I think it really shows in the songs and I can’t wait for people to hear that magic we found.”

Recorded at the legendary Avatar Studios in New York, the timeless album will include several classics and well-known Christmas songs, as well as an original track entitled, “Glow.”

Brett is currently at country radio with his latest single, “Wanna Be That Song,” and on the road with Keith Urban on Urban’s ripCord tour.
