Rascal Flatts Release Brand New Single and it’s “Yours If You Want It”

It’s an exciting day when Rascal Flatts release new music, and it’s “Yours If You Want It.” The brand new single, co-written by Andrew Dorff and Jonathan Singleton, is the lead track from the trio’s forthcoming studio album and is at country radio now.

“We all felt like ‘Yours If You Want It’ was the perfect way to introduce our fans and radio to the new music we’ve been making,” said Jay DeMarcus. “We’ve been working really hard and we’re very proud of this track and what’s more, the late Andrew Dorff is a writer on it, and we are so honored to be a small part of making sure his legacy lives on. We have a special angel watching over it, for sure.”

Bailey Bryan Releases Innovative Music Video for Debut Single “Own It”

Country newcomer Bailey Bryan is heading in to 2017 full steam ahead with her debut single, “Own It.” The Selma, WA native is set to release her self-powering anthem to country radio later this month. To further highlight the new single, Bryan released her very first music video that delivers a positive message about embracing insecurities and imperfections. Not only does this serve as her first music video, but it is also the first vertical music video in the country music format!

The video is a direction reflection of Bailey and the message is loud and clear throughout the video. “I actually felt really good about that dancing and then I watched the video back and was like, ‘Well that’s perfect,’” Bryan says laughing at herself. “You kind of learn a lot of random things about me by the end of it — but more importantly the words in that song really are the message I wanna send to people.”

Bryan is certainly leaving a lasting impression on country fans as well the industry, and as landed herself on several Ones To Watch List for 2017, including ours (check it out here).

Blake Shelton Unveils Plans for Ole Red Entertainment Venue in Nashville and Tishomingo

Country Superstar Blake Shelton has teamed up with Ryman Hospitality Properties, Inc. to bring his smash hit “Ol’ Red” to life in Nashville, and his hometown of Tishomingo, OK.

Ole Red Nashville will be will be making its way to Lower Broadway by way of a $20 million multi-level entertainment venue.  Within 26,000 square feet of space, Ole Red Nashville will include a  two-story bar and restaurant, retail area, performance space, dance floor and private VIP booths for small groups, a large private event space, and a 6,000-square-foot rooftop featuring an indoor/outdoor bar and restaurant with panoramic views of Lower Broadway. Located at 300 Broadway, the highly anticipated venue is planned to open in 2018.

Additionally, Shelton and Ryman Hospitality Properties also announced that Ole Red Tishomingo is heading to Blake’s hometown in 2017.

Zac Brown To Be Honored at CRS 2017 with Artist Humanitarian Award

Zac Brown will be presented with a huge honor at the upcoming Country Radio Seminar next month in Nashville. The Country Radio Broadcasters announced that Brown will receive the CRS 2017 Artist Humanitarian Award.

Created in 1990, The Artist Humanitarian Award is to honor those that have put forth extraordinary humanitarian efforts throughout their career. Zac Brown certainly meets the criteria, and then some, as he is involved with several beneficial causes and charities. The talented singer/songwriter works closely with his own foundation, Camp Southern Ground, as well as GRAMMYS on The Hill, GRAMMY U, MusiCares, Robin Hood Foundation and The USO.

Past recipients of the Artist Humanitarian Award include Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Trace Adkins, Randy Owen, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Reba, Vince Gill, Garth Brooks, Charlie Daniels and more.

In addition to Zac Brown’s honor, former Chairman and CEO of Greater Media Peter Smyth will be presented with the CRS 2017 Tom Rivers Humanitarian Award. The presentations will occur on Wednesday, February 22.
