Jason Aldean Notches 19th No. One Single with “Any Ol Barstool”

While “slowing things down with the open-hearted…Jack Daniels-laced song” (Entertainment Weekly), RIAA’s top digital Country male artist of all time Jason Aldean earns his 19th No. One with “Any Ol Barstool,” topping both the Mediabase and Billboard Country Airplay charts this week. Serving as the third consecutive chart-topper off his seventh studio album THEY DON’T KNOW, “the soundtrack of heartache” (Billboard) also marks Aldean’s first No. One since claiming the coveted ACM Entertainer of the Year award back-to-back, making him one of only ten artists in history to achieve this accomplishment.

“‘Any Ol Barstool’ brought that classic Country vibe I grew up on, so it’s pretty cool to me that my fans and Country radio took it to No. One,” said Aldean. “We’ve worked up big moments around ‘Barstool’ and ’They Don’t Know’ and it’s made me even more ready to get back out on the road and see the fans.”

Aldean keeps the momentum moving as he announces his new single is the title-track off the only Country album to claim the top spot on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart in 2016. “Packed with stadium-size songs and arena-ready hooks” (The Boston Globe), Aldean is sure to bring that same energy to the stage while boasting support from special guests Chris Young, Kane Brown and Dee Jay Silver,as he returns to the road next week with his JASON ALDEAN: THEY DON’T KNOW TOUR, launching in Toledo, OH, on Apr. 27.

“When I first heard the song it really made me think about how rural communities can come across misunderstood. It’s a classic scenario in movies, a Hollywood producer films in small towns and packs in every stereotype you can imagine,” noted Aldean. “This song wraps all those feelings together perfectly and basically says not to judge a book by its cover. I relate to that growing up in the backwoods of Georgia.”

LANCO To Make TV Debut On Today Show April 17

Arista Nashville’s breakout band LANCO will make their national television debut on Monday, April 17th on NBC’s Today performing their new single “Greatest Love Story.”

With over 10 million streams and early indicators of a firebrand hit, “Greatest Love Story” showcases the band’s signature “country roots with a rock edge” (Billboard) and leads their debut album expected later this year, produced by Jay Joyce.

“When I wrote this song, I was only thinking about telling my story and hopefully finding some fans who would understand it and hear their own story in it,” explains lead singer and the band’s namesake Brandon Lancaster.  “Performing it on an iconic show like TODAY never even crossed my mind.  This is a huge deal for me as a songwriter and for us as a band…it’s a bucket list moment we’ll always remember.”

After a hectic 12 months crisscrossing the country in an RV to perform at festivals ranging from the all genre Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits to country staples Watershed and Faster Horses, the band of friends revealed last week that they will join the lineup at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in Manchester, Tennessee on June 9th.
