Levin Hummon: In His Own Words

My new single “Don’t Waste The Night” is…
A song that really stood out in my live set. It’s a song that I find really honest and real about wanting another person to not waste the moment “not waste the night”. I wanted to capture my love for immersive melodies in the song, but I also wanted people to dance to it.

Being out on the road with Kip Moore was…
Unreal. He has such a unique and loyal fan base that would pack the house every night. It’s always fun when a room of people wants to party but also is capable of listening. Kip puts on a great show so it was definitely fun to watch and learn from.

My experience at Stagecoach Music Festival this year was…
Worth every second in 92 degree heat and 4 thousand feet above sea level. I’m still pinching myself that it actually happened. It was an honor to share the stage with so many amazing artists.

With my live shows, fans can expect…
Me putting my entire heart into the performance and also trying out new songs and new material. I’m constantly changing the set and finding new ways to make it hit harder and feel more honest. I think right now my live show is truly beginning to capture my voice as an artist.

As fans continue to get to know me, I want them to know…
I’m a singer/songwriter first and that I’m most passionate about great songs.  I am always attracted to unique voices and originality in music so that’s what I strive for.

Throughout the rest of 2017, I’m looking forward to…
Continuing to tour and meet new fans each and every night. I’m also looking forward to releasing more music and showing everyone what I have been working on these past couple years.

Country Music resonates with me because…
It’s a genre of honesty. It’s also a genre that I grew up in, being from Nashville, and was raised on it.

BRIDGES shows a new high point in their patented fusion of Southern rock and country soul, featuring six scorching new tracks and seven acoustic live renditions – including a captivating version of their breakout smash, “Smoke.”

Lead single “Preachin’ to the Choir” is already climbing at Country radio and earning rave critical reviews. A laid back, lighters-in-the-air anthem, the summertime rocker is all about living life for good times and Saturday nights – and surrounding yourself with people who do the same.
