RaeLynn New Single “Lonely Call” Chosen By Her Fans

Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Nashville’s rising star RaeLynn let her fans guide the choice for her next single, and she received an overwhelming answer: “Lonely Call.” Co-written with one of the album’s producers Nicolle Galyon and Rob Hawkins, the story within the track is explained by NPR as rejecting “a wishy-washy ex without flinching, sending all of his calls to voicemail” while “steeling herself against the temptation to settle for his vacillating interest.”

“When it came time to pick my next single, I knew the most important voice in this decision would be my fans,” RaeLynn shared. “I asked and “Lonely Call” won hands down! My fans obviously know me well because this is the one I was hoping for too.”

“Lonely Call” is the follow-up single to one of Rolling Stone’s Best Country Songs of 2016 “Love Triangle,” which is up for “Breakthrough Video Of The Year” at this year’s CMT Music Awards. After a sold-out performance last month at Nashville’s Mercy Lounge, the red-hot singer RaeLynn will bring her energetic set that includes songs from her No. 1 debut album, WildHorse, to this year’s CMA Music Festival. A full list of appearances and performances can be found below, including her Riverfront performance that Rolling Stone named one of their 20 Best Free Concerts at the festival.

Rain Doesn’t Stop Chris Janson From Performing For Fans

Chris Janson knows how to turn a rainstorm into a party! “Country music’s most energetic performer” (Nash Country Daily) took the stage at Rock the South this Saturday in Cullman, AL for a wet set to a packed crowd of dedicated fans. Janson played favorites such his co-written Tim McGraw hit “Truck Yeah” and the No. 1 smash “Buy Me A Boat.” See a video of the audience singing along in the rain here.

“When 20,000 fans stand in the rain, so do you!” said Janson. “No one else in my band could perform because there was no way to cover their gear. My only options were to cancel my set or play acoustic – so that’s what I did. It turned out to be a beautiful thing.”

Janson also played songs from his forthcoming Fix A Drink – EP, due this Friday, June 9. With five days to go until its release, the EP and its title track have already earned critical praise. Sounds Like Nashville declared that “Janson is fully locked and loaded with a new group of songs,” while Rolling Stone called the single “a clever kiss-off to the troubles and tribulations of everyday life.” The song’s official music video features Platinum-selling recording artist Luke Bryan, label mate Michael Ray, Dustin Lynch, LOCASH and the Davisson Brothers Band carefree and kicking back with Janson.

The chart-topping singer/songwriter added: “Summer is here, and so is my new EP. It’s a perfect soundtrack for anyone who wants to have a good time. We’ll have a full blown album later on this summer – but for the time being, I hope this satisfies the itch to have some new music in hand. Until then, crank it and ‘Fix a Drink!’”

Janson is in Nashville this week for CMA Fest, which will include his performances at the Annual Friends Club Party at WildHorse Saloon and Chevrolet Riverfront Stage on Thursday. He is currently on the road with Sam Hunt for the “15 in a 30” tour, which launched on June 1 in Cleveland (full dates below), and he will join Tim McGraw and Faith Hill later this summer for their “Soul2Soul” tour.

LANCO Brings Their “Greatest Love Story” To Life with New Music Video

As emerging breakout band LANCO (Arista Nashville) continue to see their new single “Greatest Love Story” rise on the Country radio charts, the honest lyrics behind a timeless love story are brought to life in the new music video premiering on VEVO. Penned solely by LANCO lead singer Brandon Lancaster, the “mid-tempo storytelling song” puts “his emotions on his sleeve” (Taste of Country) as its real-life story “tugs at your heart strings” (People).

“I wrote this song about my life and what I knew coming from small-town Smyrna, TN,” said Lancaster. “I thought it was just about me, my relationship, but then we started hearing from all these fans on the road and online – military couples, couples who played it at their weddings – who felt like it was ‘their song’ too. It’s really cool to become part of their stories in such a personal way.”

Directed by Justin Key, the retro 80’s inspired music video for “Greatest Love Story” was filmed near Nashville, following two childhood sweethearts through relatable life-lessons and separation, before rekindling their relationship. To watch the “Greatest Love Story,” click here:
