Kenny Chesney Is “So Ready” To Rock Gillette Stadium

When Kenny Chesney hit the parking lot at Gillette Stadium, he could feel his pulse accelerate. After closing his Spread The Love Tour with 121,399 fans over two nights at the home of the New England Patriots, the 8-time Entertainer of the Year hasn’t been on a stadium since. For the man who traditionally plays to upwards of a million fans each year, that kind of absence definitely makes the heart yearn for the connection.

“Because I know No Shoes Nation is gearing up for this as much as we are,” Chesney said during a pause in the band’s stadium-sized rehearsal, “I am standing on this T, looking out at the empty Gillette Stadium and hearing all the cheers from last year echo in my head.”

After walking offstage last year, Chesney offered, This is why we do this, this right here. To play for people who love music so much, who commit so completely to what’s in these songs, who scream and shout and cheer like these fans! When you can find fans like that, you wanna do even better than you think possible… and with the No Shoes Nation, who we named right here, it really does inspire us to reach for new heights, possibilities…”

The only country artist to be in the Top 10 of Billboard’s Biggest Touring Acts of the Last 25 Years actually added a few shows to his initial “off year” line-up to be ready for this weekend’s return to Foxboro. With the stage now in, Chesney and team are working to add more seats for his only stadium-sized concerts in 2017.

“I’ve always said: I want everyone to be able to come rock with us who wants to be part of the fun, of the music, of the moment,” Chesney began. “To me, it’s about what we all share together when me and the guys are up on that stage. It’s the music, the people, the emotions. It’s been something we’ve been sharing in Boston since long before we played Gillette for the first time in 2005 – and I think it’s the reason No Shoes Nation got named there, and has a flag waving in the end zone just like all the Superbowl pennants!”

With Live in No Shoes Nation, due October 27, capturing a decade’s worth of special moments from the man The Los Angeles Times deemed “The People’s Superstar,” this weekend’s shows should embody all the power, all the passion that multiplies itself when No Shoes Nation sets up its tents, comes together and sings the songs of — as the song “Please Come To Boston” says —   “the man from Tennessee.”

“It’s been a year, and I am so ready,” Chesney raved. “Whoever you are, if you’ve got tickets, come ready to feel this music, to rock hard and have more fun than you’ve had all summer. We’ve saved up all year for this; and the band and I are bringing everything we’ve got! I can’t wait… and it’s now only a matter of hours, not days and weeks!”

Carly Pearce Announces Release of Debut Album EVERY LITTLE THING Set for October 13

Carly Pearce returned to SiriusXM The Highway in Nashville yesterday morning (8/22) to share big news with host Storme Warren – her highly-anticipated debut album. EVERY LITTLE THING, out October 13 on Big Machine Records, offers insight into her songwriting muses from the feisty “Careless” and evocative “Dare Ya” to the breakthrough title track.

From the first spin of “Every Little Thing,” SiriusXM has been a strong advocate marking the song a “Highway Find” before it topped the chart for three weeks, earned her “Future Five for 2017” status and prompted “If My Name Was Whiskey” to be added into rotation as “Every Little Thing” continues to rise at terrestrial radio.

Carly is currently the only solo female charging into the Top 15 on the Country radio airplay charts with her soul-bearing title track and was chosen as an esteemed all-genre iHeart ON THE VERGE artist earlier this year, in addition to being the first artist tapped for Cox Media’s Plugged In program.

“Music is all I’ve ever known, all I’ve dreamed of, and now more than I could have imagined growing up in Taylor Mill, Kentucky,” explained Carly. “My journey has been long but so worth it each time I hear ‘Every Little Thing’ on the radio or sung back to me from a crowd. I’m so grateful and excited to share more of the songs I wrote alongside some of my biggest inspirations and those where others penned the words of my story. I hope this album will be worth the wait … I know it has been for me!”

Collaborating in both writing and recording with sought-after producer busbee (Katy Perry, Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Maren Morris, Kelly Clarkson), the 13-track album reflects Carly’s textured vocals and emotive songwriting sensibilities across eight of the tracks. From the regional Bluegrass band she joined at age 11 to being homeschooled at 16 so she could take a job singing hours away, her passion has grown over the last nine years in Nashville. Her tenacity has shaped not only her character but come alive throughout her lyrics and performances, earning coveted spots on the road with Kelsea Ballerini, Kip Moore and Hunter Hayes.

Carly is currently a special guest on Bobby Bones: FUNNY & ALONE STAND UP COMEDY TOUR and will join Brett Young on his CALIVILLE TOUR this fall.

Chris Lane Earns Gold Certification with Hit Single “For Her”

Country’s fast-rising star Chris Lane continues to reach new heights during a standout summer, with his current single “For Her” officially certified GOLD by the RIAA. The tender tune is on the verge of Country radio’s Top 10, as Lane crisscrosses the country on Florida Georgia Line’s THE SMOOTH TOUR 2017, bringing his heart-melting falsetto and R&B-infused jams to thousands of adoring fans night after night.

Lane was surprised with shiny new hardware recognizing the track’s 500,000 sales and streams by CMT Hot 20 Countdown hosts Katie Cook and Cody Alan just minutes before he hyped up the sold-out crowd at the Wrigley Field stop on FGL’s THE SMOOTH STADIUM TOUR 2017 on Saturday, August 12.

“It was a dream come true to play Wrigley Field, and for Cody and Katie to surprise me with the GOLD plaque honoring ‘For Her’ was more than I could have ever imagined,” said Lane. “I’m so thankful that this song impacted fans as much as it did me the first time I heard it.”

“For Her” joins Lane’s GOLD-certified debut, “Fix,” which shot to #1 on the Country charts and scored nominations for New Male Vocalist of the Year at the 52nd annual ACM Awards and Best New Country Artist at the 2017 iHeartRadio Music Awards. Propelling into the national spotlight, Lane made his late-night TV debut on Late Night With Seth Meyers, as well as performing “For Her” on CONAN and ABC’s reality romance series The Bachelor earlier this year.

Written by Kelly Archer, Sarah Buxton and Matt Dragstrem, “For Her” is a devoted, hearts-on-fire confession of love and the second release from Lane’s Big Loud Records debut album, GIRL PROBLEMS. To date, “For Her” has amassed 31 million streams on Spotify, with the heartfelt music video — complete with a real-life proposal — racking up 7.7 million Vevo views.
