“We have loved this song since the day we wrote it! It feels good every time we play it. We can’t wait for our fans, and fans of music everywhere, to hear it.” ⁃ Love and Theft
Known for their #1 platinum hit, “Angel Eyes,” and their sobering single “Whiskey On My Breath,” the powerhouse duo are poised to climb the charts with their newest release, “You Didn’t Want Me.” The breezy, carefree tune calls out all the heartbreakers who only want what they can’t have and didn’t realize a good thing when they had it.
“This song has been and will continue to be one of my favorites to play every night! I can relate and I’d venture to guess that most people can too.” – Eric Gunderson
Love and Theft will launch a radio tour this summer to promote the release to radio in August.
Global entertainers FLORIDA GEORGIA LINE keep it “Simple” with the release of a brand new music video for the lighthearted roots-infused lead single off their hotly anticipated fourth studio album (BMLG Records).
Filmed at Nashville’s historic plantation house Travellers Rest, director Justin Clough collaborated with creative visionaries Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard to depict a love story for the ages. Donning period clothing, FGL provides the ideal score for the lead couple’s on-screen romance illuminating a sparked memory of a yesteryear courtship narrated by a grandfather to his grandsons.
“’Simple’ felt just right to start our next chapter and I’m so proud of this video,” Hubbard shares. “The ease in this song, this storyline, it’s all so reflective of where we are right now in our own lives…enjoying the little – and simple – things.”
Kelley adds, “With this feel-good tune, we’re going back to basics…the stripped-down roots. We’re so excited that fans are vibing with its simple nature.”
Penned by Hubbard and Kelley along with Michael Hardy and Mark Holman, the music video perfectly matches the open-range musicality complete with the whistling hooks and rolling banjos. Mixing Western undertones with beating-hearts rhythm, “Simple” is currently surging Country radio at Top 20-and-climbing.
As the summer heats up, Warner Music Nashville’s Morgan Evans will appear on an upcoming episode of ABC’s The Bachelorette. The episode will feature a one-of-a-kind performance by the Australia native of his Top 10-and-rising hit “Kiss Somebody” for the Bachelorette Becca Kufrin and one of the lucky men vying for her heart. This episode of The Bachelorette, currently celebrating its 14th season, is scheduled to air Monday, July 2nd at 8/7c on ABC.
First breaking out in Australia and gaining international recognition as the CMA Global Country Artist (2015), Evans co-wrote his debut U.S. Single “Kiss Somebody” alongside Chris DeStefano and Josh Osborne. “As vulnerable as it is fun,” (Rolling Stone) the infectious track will be featured on his much-anticipated debut album.
Evans recently kicked off his 10 IN 10 headline run with a sold out show at the Hotel Café in Los Angeles. Jetting from coast to coast, he is performing 10 consecutive shows in 10 days with upcoming dates in Atlanta, GA (6/27) and New York, NY (6/28).
As the saying goes, all roads lead back home. This holds especially true for GRAMMY nominated country hit maker Cassadee Pope. After a long yet productive journey that brought her back to her roots in country music, Pope is returning to the Vans Warped Tour, the stage that she rocked 8 years ago as the lead singer of punk band Hey Monday. You can catch the platinum certified Pope on July 30th in Charlotte, NC, and July 31st in Atlanta, GA.
“Growing up, the thought of playing Warped Tour was a dream. Now, not only do I get to say ‘I played Warped Tour twice’, I get to perform songs that I poured my heart and soul into over the last few years. It almost feels like a graduation of sorts for me, and I can’t wait to get on that stage and get all nostalgic!”
Cassadee’s hard work came into fruition earlier this year with the release of her newest single, “Take You Home”. Pope’s newest tune in 2 years shows her in a vulnerable yet confident light, singing about the different layers of relationships. With its confessional and forward lyrics, fans will be treated to a new side of Cassadee.
The Warped Tour has become a musical institution since its inaugural run in 1995, hosting major acts such as Sublime, Blink-182, and Green Day. This year, Cassadee will find herself playing alongside bands such as 3OH!3, Mayday Parade, and Reel Big Fish.
Tour buses and GRAFFITI U wrapped trailers, twenty-two in all, and a crew of ninety-three have hit the road, hauling enough cable to carry electricity from Nashville to St. Louis and nearly forty guitars for the launch of Keith Urban’s “GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR 2018.” A 23-song, two-hour plus set, marks the four-time GRAMMY Award winner’s first world tour in more than two years.
After only a few shows, fans have been treated to Urban’s now expected unexpected. His fast-paced party-like performances reveal an unrivaled triple threat entertainer. Vocalist, virtuoso guitarist and ever the showman, Urban’s connection to his fans always features spontaneous moments and “GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR 2018” has been no exception.
He revealed that his opening night featured guests, the innovative blues, Americana and rock duo Larkin Poe, will accompany him on the tour through August, performing “Where the Blacktop Ends.” In addition, Urban has not only made a phone call to a fan’s friend (from the stage), he’s given an onstage pre-wedding first dance performance of “Making Memories of Us” to a Detroit couple.
It should come as no surprise that critics are raving. Of his show in Indianapolis the Star said, “Urban reached an undeniable peak of energy exchange between performer and audience. He had the crowd hanging on every line…you’d be in decent shape if you wagered on Urban in a guitar duel against any living player.”
The “GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR 2018” debut in St. Louis led their Post-Dispatch to proclaim that, “Urban has made (his show) memorable from opening to closing.” And Pittsburgh’s Post-Gazette states that “(Urban) maintains a special inexplicable quality seen in few musicians.”
The 58-city, 62 show North American leg of his “GRAFFITI U WORLD TOUR 2018,” features GRAMMY Nominee Kelsea Ballerini, who will accompany Urban on the U.S. leg as his supporting act and Lindsay Ell, who will accompany Urban on shows north of the border (not including June 29 and 30 in Toronto).
