First Round of Performers Announced for the 61st ACM Awards

The 61st Academy of Country Music Awards is just around the corner, and the Academy of Country Music® (ACM), Prime Video, and Dick Clark Productions (DCP) have officially revealed the first round of performers. With just three artists announced so far, it’s already clear this year’s show is shaping up to be a big one. Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, and Riley Green are all set to take the stage, with more names expected soon.

This year’s show heads back to Las Vegas, taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on Sunday, May 17, 2026. The show will stream live worldwide beginning at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. Fans can also catch the broadcast via the Amazon Music channel in the Amazon Music app or on Twitch.

Back in its Sunday night slot, the show is expected to deliver standout performances with a mix of special collaborations, and a few surprises along the way. Both established stars and rising artists will be featured throughout the star-studded night.

Leading up to the big event, several events will take place, two of whith have already been announced. TopGolf Las Vegas will host “ACM Lifting Lives Country on the Green” featuring Riley Green & Friends on Friday, May 15, and Mandalay Bay Beach will host “ACM Next Wave: Country’s Beach Bash” on Saturday, May 16.
