Dylan Scott – the strong-voiced Louisiana native whose talent earned him an opening slot on Lee Brice’s Life Off My Years Tour has just announced an August 12th street date for his debut, self-titled album. Through a clever social media campaign, he not only teased up his brand new single, “My Girl,” but also announced his impending marriage this weekend.
In the video campaign, Dylan explains that this song was “ten years in the making” “and a story that goes all the way back to my sophomore year of high school” when “I was 15, she was 16.” The campaign created a frenzy among fans, generating over half a million views in its first 4 days.

Already recognized as one of the most successful artist development stories of the past year, Dylan’s music has a proven track record, having streamed over twenty three million times with video views approaching thirty million across social media platforms.
The self-titled album features thirteen songs, seven of which were co-written by Dylan. “All the songs on this album are me. They are a direct reflection of my life. It’s a special time for me to launch a new single, a new album, and get married all in the same weekend!”
Scott recently made his first appearance in the Country Top-40 with “Crazy Over Me.” The song also debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard sales chart long before the single reached radio airwaves. In addition to his social media impact, he was also named a “Spotlight Artist” for 2016 by Spotify, sold over 450,000 digital downloads, was featured on national television, and made his Grand Ole Opry debut earlier this year.
Scott will promote the single and album to radio stations nationwide while on tour. For an updated itinerary, visit www.DylanScottCountry.com
