Country music trio Sister C, who are being dubbed a group to watch in 2016 for their powerhouse vocal and songwriting chops, are offering fans the chance to stream their debut EP, Demo Sessions, Vol. 1, on Spotify. The five song EP is made up of actual demo songs including their catchy single “Faint of Heart” that was produced by multi-Platinum selling country star Lee Brice and Nashville hit-maker Jon Stone.
The single garnered the attention of the Dallas-Forth Worth Cumulus owned KSCS in their home state of Texas and is currently being spun in heavy rotation and peaked at #12 on SiriusXM The Highway. Sister C recorded Demo Sessions, Vol. 1 after the overwhelming positive response they received for “Faint of Heart” and the fans who have come out in droves to demand new music. The EP also features a demo of “Even a Broken Heart Beats,” which the real-life sisters recorded for their “Blue Room Sessions” and the video has received an incredible response with over 2.3 million people reached on Facebook alone so far, since its release earlier this month.
Cirby, Carli and Celbi, who make up Sister C, wrote and co-wrote all the songs on the EP and are excited to be working with Spotify to get the music out to the fans. Demo Sessions, Vol. 1 was written and recorded in Nashville, TN at the home of Sister C and from the upbeat single “Take Me To The Water” to the mellow love song “Cry Tomorrow” and the catchy “This Bar Ain’t Big Enough” the EP has a song for everyone to relate to and sing along with. Fans can also pick up the latest issue of NASH Country Weekly, on newsstands now, to get to know the girls better as the featured “Who’s New” artist in the popular magazine.
“We are so excited to be releasing this EP of our demoed songs as we’ve been writing our butts off this past year with some pretty amazing writers and we are just so proud of the tunes that have come out of it,” said Sister C. “Since the “Blue Room Sessions” videos have had such amazing feedback, we wanted to find another outlet to get our songs out there to everyone. There are a few our listeners will recognize from past Sessions but there are also some brand new ones, so we can’t wait to hear everyone’s feedback!”
Sister C have steadily been winning over fans, radio and media alike as a new group to watch in 2016 and it is clear with every note they sing that their talent is undeniable.
Sister C, who were first discovered as finalists on the second season of X Factor working with coach Simon Cowell, are seasoned songwriters, performers and musicians who have been creating music together since their early days in a small Texas town.
