Multi-Platinum singer/songwriter Thomas Rhett commands the radio charts once again this week, spending a fifth consecutive week at No. One on the Billboard Country Airplay chart with his PLATINUM certified hit “Die A Happy Man.” Most recently accomplished in 2009, it was Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” that last maintained the long-standing hold.
The expressive track also claims a fourth week at the top of the Mediabase radio chart, six weeks at No. One on the Mediabase Canada Country chart and continues to be the best-selling country digital track for an 11th week. Thomas Rhett is also making waves overseas as his PLATINUM certified No. One “Crash And Burn” off his sophomore release TANGLED UP (Valory Music Co.) makes its way onto the BBC A-List in advance of his C2C MainStage performance in March.
The singer/songwriter continued the momentum this weekend after opening weekend as direct support for Jason Aldean’s WE WERE HERE 2016 TOUR, standing out during sold-out shows as he displayed “how to please a full house” (City County Observer).
