Zac Brown Band’s ‘The Grohl Sessions Vol. 1’ will be released physically for the first time on May 19 through Southern Ground. The EP will be available as a deluxe CD/DVD package at Walmart, Best Buy, ZacBrownBand.com and at all ZBB concerts during the band’s 2014 ‘Great American Road Trip’ tour, which kicks off in Lincoln, Nebraska on May 24, and includes two sold out shows at Boston’s Fenway Park.
The exclusive CD/DVD package includes the EP and an additional DVD featuring bonus content that includes a 45-minute behind-the-scenes video which follows the band during a week-long recording session at Southern Ground Studio in Nashville. The package also includes a lyric video for the new, hit single “All Alright.”
The four-song EP already has critics raving that “Zac Brown Band, country music’s most versatile outfit, rocks harder than ever” (USA Today) and that “the whole collaboration [was] genius squared” (Cleveland Plain Dealer).
