Country superstar Miranda Lambert dominates the nominations for the 2014 CMT MUSIC AWARDS as she’s up for a total of six awards this year – two for independent work; two for her collaboration with Keith Urban on “We Were Us”; and two as a member of Pistol Annies. Florida Georgia Line and Luke Bryan follow with five nominations each, while Keith Urban and Taylor Swift are tied with four nominations. Voting begins now at CMT.com and continues until Sunday, June 1 at midnight ET.
The nominees were revealed across CMT’s digital platforms this morning by the cast of the network’s hit show, PARTY DOWN SOUTH, through short video vignettes filmed at the house where the cast has been living while taping their second season.
The 2014 CMT MUSIC AWARDS, now in its 13th year, will air LIVE from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 4 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Performers, presenters and this year’s host will all be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets for the show will go on sale Saturday, May 10 at 11:00 a.m. ET/10:00 a.m. CT at all Ticketmaster outlets and the Bridgestone Arena Box Office.
