Sam Hunt’s smash hit single “Body Like a Back Road” continues its reign on the charts! Written by Hunt, Zach Crowell, Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, the song serves as the lead single from Hunt’s sophomore album, and spends a third week topping the Billboard Country Airplay chart, as well as a second week at No. 1 on the Mediabase Country Aircheck chart.

Sam showcased “Body Like A Back Road”  last month at the ACM Awards. While the singer/songwriter experienced some technical difficulties during the song, he delivered the hit without missing a beat all while involving his fiancée, now his wife. “Involving her with that performance was fun” Sam shares. “She was a little uncomfortable about being there and a little overwhelmed, and she may not agree, but I thought that would warm her up a little bit to the whole experience and she may not admit it, but I think it did.”

While sitting on a bench at the beginning of his performance, the wires for his audio pack got caught in the cushions leaving him with no audio in his ear monitors.  “When I stood up off the little bench seat I was sitting on, I lost my (audio) pack and then I thought, ‘Shoot, I can’t hear anything,’” recalls Sam. “I get concerned about little details a lot of times and things going wrong or not going wrong and having her there just made it all go away. So, that’s another reason I wanted to go down and sit with her and made sure she knew that she’s really what matters, you know.”

Sam Hunt will embark on his 15 in a 30 Tour this summer starting June 1st. For tickets, dates and additional details, please visit samhunt.com.
